I'm not an expert but I have used photoshop for years and today something weird is happening with the paint bucket. I was filling in areas with different colors and all the sudden the bucket was not filling in with the color I had selected but with another color. For example, I wanted to change a dark blue color with a bright green color, picked the green tone, clicked on the area and it did paint it but with a light blue not with the bright green that I had selected. I tried with different colors with the same results. Any idea why this might be happening?
Hi, thanks for commenting! My initial reaction is to check if your "Mode" for the Paint Bucket Tool is set to "Normal" and not another blending mode. The blending mode will change the look of your fill. You can also reset the tool if that doesn't work - that will set all settings back to default. Hope this helps!
