ahh thank you... i could figure out, how to add the files :)
Nice one, thanks Faxi! I actually contemplated covering this but had doubts because of legal issues (didn't know about the Waldorf, tried the Virus TI)
That's why I won't be showing the Virus, but this is literally obtained by a perfectly legal download from the Waldorf website
You have to admit though, the OsTIrus kicks butt. I purchased a dedicated controller just for it. BTW, if I also purchase a dedicated laptop for it, what's the best way to get it talking to my main computer running Ableton? Ableton Link or some other hardware? I'd like to have it as a Standalone unit but it also should be able to talk to the rest of my setup.
@@AA-ge4ujwhich dedicated controller did you buy? Cheers!
And yes, it’s an awesome synth :)
G'day. Actually, it's ended up being (x2) by the end of it. I started with the M-vave SMK25-MkII & when I wanted more knobs & buttons, married it with the M-vave SMC-Pad. 50 bucks & 50 bucks, plus a 2nd hand laptop, still cheaper than a Access unit & more importantly, newer. I already had the SMC-Pad & was using it to launch clips & Starting & Holding ARPs on VST, it does have (x4) Bank Presets but found myself switching the thing to the OsTIrus Bank enough times to justify buying a 2nd unit. The MkII & Pad are almost the same width & so sit side by side beautifully. They are velcroed to a piece of perspex that sits over the keyboard of the laptop, the MkII in the middle, the Pad to the left & a wireless mini keyboard with touchpad to the right. The laptop display juts out the back & I'm in business. There's a download of the OsTIrus by The Usual Suspects that comes with Firmware & 60,000 Presets. What more do you need?
Thank you very much!I love the sounds :)
welcome!

Thanks to you, I finally have the presets loading. Very appreciated! (Edit: I was even able to get the free collection from Jexus to work, which are single patches).
