That was the goal! When I started my mount grind a year ago all these guide videos took too long to explain things (in my opinion) and I wanted something that was to the point. So I decided to start making the mount guides I wish I had when I started my journey.
From my experience that has happened when I didn't go through the maze correctly, you can't make one wrong turn. If you're interested I can add you on bnet and I can help you get the mount. If you wanna do that join the discord and reach out to me.

I did read more of the comments under here and tried that thing of walking back WAY up the hill until the colour sort of changed and then went back your way. The second I got in range of the mob I tagged him with Ice Lance and then proceeded to kill him and get the mount!
@@archmaxy5041 Okay awesome! Yeah you have to start the maze at the very beginning of the hill right at the coordinates I marked it at to get full credit for it. Congratulations on the mount!!
In the pandaria video (and the others) I have all of the mounts from the specific expansion with the exception of the profession/guild vendor/PvP/world event/misc mounts. I'll be making a separate video with all those type of mounts soon.

I went through the maze correctly for the Mistrunner but there was no npc and the mount itself disappeared.
