Using an old rusty tractor I am essentially Excavating and dredging the small pond that has been overtaken by grass Mounds, and other Aquatic vegetation. This is the hillbilly way!
WELL DANG!!! This is the most excitement I've had in the last three weeks! I don't know how TH-cam's algorithm sent me here but DANG!! Nothing wrong with folks who think outside the box a little and have a nice mix of pride, humility and resourcefulness!
I use hog panel. Cut the bottom and both side wires off and bend the ends in to create a hook. Wire some junk to the bottom to hold it down. And hook a chain to it on both ends. Secure the chain with wire in multiple spots and hook back to itself. Secure hook with wire. Then use a truck to pull it across.
That was worth it just to get the satisfaction of seeing an old POS lawn tractor get dragged into the drink. How I would love to have ben able to do that with some of the equipment that I have had trouble with over the years! And you got the bonus of cleaning out your pond in the process. Very creative!
I love it. A large fabricated rake would do well but good use of the scrap metal you had! I’m doing my own pond restoration And am looking to use a similar method of steel cable and winches.
I truly love this

Next time use a box spring mattress(remove cloth) works best.

It's all about a good time.
It's certainly funny!!! But seriously, you can clean such a lake with a motor pump for dirty water using a Bagermaster suction nozzle
Thats beautiful!!!
I actually like the cattails. My husband and I have the same problem. Pulling the debris is difficult.

Hog panel
That's and old snapper lawnmower!
Can’t be serious
Love it.
I expected the car bumper to come off.
Ponder on a budget.
Now ya got all the old fuel and oil that was in that mower in your pond
I was just thinking the samething
exact first thing I thought!
Back in the ground where it came from..
Not enough petrol to be a problem. Rotting leaves will kill a pond faster than a 55 gallon drum of jet fuel.
1:47 you've never seen anything like this 🤯
cool just what I was looking for . like your name , lets go brandon
Brilliant!
Let's Go You
Looks like it worked.
Easy and effective.
That's funny.

I detect a northeastern texas accent. Figures.
Very interesting. I'm from St Louis.
But I've heard someone say I had an accident before actually in the last week. What gives it away?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
