    I have mature, dry skin. No oil production during the day. I love this foundation & wear it everyday. I do mix 1 drop of oil into the foundation to help it not be too matte. It wears beautiful on my fine lines. 👍🏻👍🏻 from me!

    Years ago when I was a nurse, my paramedic gal pals did 24 hours on duty followed by 48 hours off duty. This was in the late 1990s. If I remember correctly, one of them wore Estee Lauder and the other wore Merle Norman. Can you imagine what it might feel like to do that for 24 hours? In reality, it was closer to about 27-28 hours when you figure in the time they applied it and add in the amount of time until they actually got home and took it off.

    This is one of my favorite foundations, I am 55 years old but my skin is not really dry. I think it is lovely.

    Just found your channel and subscribed. I'm always looking for a foundation that doesn't stick to my dry skin, or not wear off my nose. As having mature skin myself this is so helpful. Especially as when I cosplay and I need a practically white foundation it always end up magnifying my pores so much! Going very blotchy on my skin

    I have "mature" skin. A few fine wrinkles and some pores. And I've been struggling for soooooooooooooo long to find a foundation to love. I've spent a fortune and everything is too dewy. I have a bit oily skin, and all foundations shine like crazy on me.
    Anyway...... I have finally finally found my holy grail. L'Oréal's infallible 24hr matte. It. Is. Brilliant! Leaves my skin velvety and perfect. Omg, I love it.

    You asked who wears a foundation for 24 hours. I didn't see anyone say they did, so here is my answer. When I fly over to the states to be with my fiance, I will have had my face on for 18 hours by the time he meets me at the airport! So only at those to and from occasions do I do the 24 hour with the same stuff on.
    I'm 53 in two weeks time and in the last 8 years or so, I have found mineral powder foundations look the best for such long wear on my skin.
    You will probably all fall off your chairs in shock at the next bit. I wear a lot of hairspray, especially when I travel but I don't cover my finished face when having that one last spray. I'm betting a little of it is settling on my face and sealing it all in. I know it lasts very well and I get no fading of blush etc.
    I know models used to use the hairspray technique years ago, but I wouldn't recommend it for everyday use!

      Hells Bells Thank you for your comment. I’ve always thought air cabin crew might be the only people who wore foundation for 24 hours. I travel with a bare face and a hydration spray xxx

But now I think I’ll give them both a try🤗so thanks so much for another fantastic upload. I love all your videos xxx🙂💕

    i wasn't a fan of this foundation, i have dry skin and you could see every line on my face. Not good for dry skin, the coverage was amazing though and the shades didnt make sense cause either too light or too dark in my shade range. Drugstore wise the best ive found is the L-oreal true match as it's hydrating and you don't need to prime to much beforehand.

    • @PamperedWolf
      @PamperedWolf  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I hated the true match, it went patchy on my skin. Weird isn't it that we all get different results. xxx

    • @amandamore6137
      @amandamore6137 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Xxx its weird yes. I loved the coverage just dried my skin to the point where i was scratching it off. I agree with the l'oreal true match being patchy. I do actually apply it wait for the patches to show through them go over them, then its good to go and for some reason it makes my skin nice an soft. But yeah i think the maybelline superstay is great, my skin has other ideas Xxxx subscribed, really enjoy your content X

      A drop of Argan oil works too. I mix it into the foundation before applying to give me a slightly more dewy finish. If the foundation is very matte, it will give a nice satin/matte finish.

    I have very oily skin i do still moisturize because im 43 (although no one believes me they say i look like early 30s yay i love these people lol) anyway my problem is every foundation i use melts off my face and just looks like a bad 80s make up job i use a translucent powder (which i just use alone to help dry up some the oil lol) however it does not cover nothing oh and i have such large poors like i swear if they get any larger they could be oil pools on my face i do have a few "age lines" around my mouth and one between my eyes on forehead ive tryed useing a bruch and sponge to apply foundation still looks bad oh the one i have now (but i dont wear) is the instant age rewind radiant firming foundation by maybelline so do you have any tips for me...p.s. ive only been trying to wear make up the past 10yrs because of me having olive skin mascara is all i wore before i hit my 30s thank you for any tips or tricks so glad i found your channel

      Hi Linda. Funnily enough, I actually did a hooded eye Do's and Don'ts video about 8 months ago, but I wasn't quite happy with the content so I removed it. It's always been own my list of videos to re-film. I would love to do this video for you as I have hooded eyes myself and sometimes like to disguise them.
      Consider it done in the next few weeks. xxx

    You mention "mature" skin here, as you have in previous videos. I'm curious, at approximately what age do you consider mature? I ask because, and I'm not the best at guessing ages, I would estimate you to be in your mid-thirties and in describing skin ages, I wouldn't necessarily classify that as mature.
    Though I don't expect I would use this product as I tend to steer clear of matte finish for my skin, oily though it may be. But it's all good information.
    Thanks :)

      Maggie Louise, I'm 57 and I *know* she's younger :)
      Edit: whoops, I just reread your comment...now I'm not sure if you meant younger than 52 or younger than mid-thirties :)

    • @PamperedWolf
      @PamperedWolf  6 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      VivRbn I’m 40 next year Viv. 🤣 Age is a funny thing and I know we shouldn’t brand someone as having mature skin just because of their age. When you hit 30 your collagen and elastin production decreases dramatically. At 35 this depletion tends to be noticed even more (although some people are lucky).
      So in answer to your question, as a generalisation I would say anyone over the age of 35 could have mature skin. This isn’t a rule for everyone. Xxx

    I'm 43 with oily skin and this foundation was a HUGE fail for me. It looked bad from the moment I put it on until I removed it. It separated from my nose and chin within a couple of hours, made any texture on my skin stand out, and settled into fine lines under my eyes. I had such high hopes for it, but it was bad.

      J Moore what brand of tint?

    • @JNoMooreNumbers
      @JNoMooreNumbers 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just use Elf after various primers from subscription boxes and let it have a chance to dry up otherwise it goes on smeary. Just want a base for rest of makeup. Not perfect but better than foundations that goop up under my eyes where it's the most wrinkled and look awful. Minimal concealer under eyes away from the worst, mostly used for little sun spots, bug bites and red skin between eyebrows. Been using gradual self tanners which seem to allow me to go less on blush, etc. Not the instant which comes off easy and can stain. Less is more when older I think though have fun with eye shadows. With my skin tone, pink blush is awful. Light olive and hard to find light plums which I like or stick with darker peach/orange or browns barely there. My blush pallet is so pigmented, a tiny bit blended to death is what I do.
      I tan real fast but tend to cover up because of all the ticks and did get Lyme last year. Self tanners help to blend in my farmer's tan if I do wear shorts but doesn't get that hot here usually. Thin leggings or silk pants are plenty cool enough to wear. Love my silk and sun dresses. Just got a window AC and fans for the short hot periods.
