Hi Julie! Everything turned out great! On the glass jug that was blue, I buy the silver scratch pads with NO soap or anything in them from dollar tree. I use these for taking off the sharpie marker spots that goodwill insists on putting on the bottom of every item they sell...🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. And I also use them to take off those pesky sticky tags, once I've soaked them for a bit in hot soapy dishwater, same with sharpie. Soak it in dishwater and those little scrubby pads takes it off generally. I am thinking that if you soak that jug again, you'd be able to get in the crevices of the bottom of that jug. I always use 🔥 WATER with my dish soap. I dont know if that makes a difference or not but I always get the nastiness off!! Happy scrubbing!! And the jug was my favorite, so I hope it came out ok!!

Wire wool with dish soap will remove paint from entire glass surface. WARNING wear gloves!.
The staining on the containers is caused by liquid seeping in through cracks in the glaze and cannot be permanently removed.

First I love all your designs and tips. I have questions.
How do you get gorilla glue not to foam all over the project. I even tried the finger spreader. I loved the dusty rose color. I get over glue to clean off.
Then with the paint and baking soda, how durable is it. I even clear sprayed it but I'm worried about chipping. The horse head really looked like concrete.
With the blue bottle I would try a dish scrubber, maybe one with a sponge on one side and use it like you did with the razor. I recently painted a glass jar with a milk glass paint color. My jar would not clean up (not paint but wear) It was awesome and sold really fast.
Keep up the great work. Love all your ideas.

You might try oven cleaner. I've used it on paint made of Kryptonite, I know, because it wouldn't succumb to anything else. I do like the glass bottle! Love the Oxyclean idea, I have used it on my beaten-up quilts with good results but never on ceramics...but maybe you shou.d let them soak for a couple of days or more, li,e I sometimes do for my quilts. Good luck!

I've heard acetone will get the paint off of the glass. I haven't tried it, but I've seen it done. It has to be 100% acetone, not nail polish remover that has a bunch of other stuff in it. Beautiful projects today! Because of you, I'm buying the Whispering Willow & Brocante transfers plus the farm animal molds and probably the pots transfers! I can't wait until March 4th to order them all! DIY paint too!

I always look forward to and LOVE your videos. I'm wondering if you tried to scrub the staining on the canisters with a toothbrush or something after their soak? In my experience, most things like that still require a bit of elbow grease. I will definitely be trying that technique. I always make my own wax out of clear wax. I recently did a metal frame that had tulips and vines around it. I experimented and mixed some spring color I liked with clear wax. I did the tulips in several colors and the vines in Celery by Waverly. It turned out so beautiful and aged looking. I LOVE it. So now I may do a project with green, gray or any color I think goes well with the piece. You should give it a try. For instance the teapots you made over. What if you made some of the dusty rose colored wax and used it over the white baking soda mixture instead of painting the entire piece that color? 😊 I'm glad you took the time to show those that may not know these tips and tricks. I think that's what makes your followers so amazing. The Facebook group is usually very open to sharing their tips and tricks. It has to help that you lead by example. ❤

Julie, next time you have a glass jar with any kind of painting on it do the dawn but use a stainless steel scrub brush pad. It will contuer to the shape of your object. I have also used comet or ajax for really tough paint. Last christmas I had to identicle vases with the crackle glass look, the only prob. Was one had a gold tone paint over it. Well I went to work on that vase and by the time I was done you could'nt tell the two apart. All because of the stainless steel pad. Try it , it really works. Much love, God Bless, AnnLyn, from N.M.

you might try benzoyl peroxide (like the oxy acne paste). I used that on a huge permanent market stain on an American girl bitty baby doll head. Set it in a window full sun for a day, completely gone! and no damage to the original doll plastic. FYI : )

Hello Miss Julie hope all is good blessing to you and fam. I was so excited to see you do the color removal from the glass bottle. If your having a hard time removing color just continue to soak it some more I use a ( and dilute decreaser I buy from SAMS CLUB( I dilute it)if the color is stubborn and let it soak for a couple of days but dont give up I wish you could see the huge collection I have collected and should get rid of according to my husband but they are so beautiful like all of your creations 🤗so please give it a try again I know you will love the results. OH one more thing make sure you try to use the hot water that first comes out the water hose(during the summer)😉Sacramento gets really dry heat helps too.

The Oxiclean is safe to use for long soaking. I had a piece of vintage fabric with a big yellow stain over almost a third of the piece. I soaked it for three days, (changing the water each day) and it came out stain free!!

Oh my goodness!! I just love the brilliant way you transformed the planter with the owie with the rose mold! Gorgeous and easily my favorite. But wait!! The pear was also my favorite. Thank you, Julie!

Love your projects. I get stains out with Coke or any cola brand. I usually leave the piece soaking overnight.

May try using mineral spirits to remove the paint

I noticed there was a kabel under the teapot of the make, etc. So I hope those teapots aren't from a designer label like Royal Doulton, cos if so, they have just lost ALL their value!

I loved the horse bookend transformation. I've totally seen those but walked right by them cuz I didn't like the color.

I've had really good luck soaking stained antique dishes in peroxide. I left them in it for several days, though.
