Thank you so much Peggy. Love the extended facing, such a great idea to enclose the neck & arm holes at once & have a smooth front

just a suggestion for the elastic button loop, I have used the elastic hair/ponytail bands, they come in lots of colors.

I get my loops at the ‘dollar tree’. You get loads of elastics for a dollar.
Why pay 3/4 times the price.

I am excited to try this. I spent the weekend fitting myself for the classic blouse and this is a great variation so now I fell like I have a great second option to try. I don't normally like vertical dats but made them per your suggestion that vertical lines are flattering (and I admit they do look really beautiful on the muslin. thank you for reco'ing to try them). However, now that you are taking them out of this blouse, would I take away circumference? I, too, like the blouson effect. Is there a formula for that or is it back to the drawing board refitting to accommodate for no darts?

What fabric did you use for the facings?

So much wonderfulness in one Let’s Sew!
Will you use knit fusible interfacing on the pants with this fabric?
    Thank you!
