I remember doing this in hypixel uhc.
Easiest way to kill hoppers by far was obby trapping.

very cool work ! you could try swapping the bottom block that pushes into the player's hitbox with an upside down stair facing towards one of the walls, which would alleviate some of the issues caused by the walls connecting to that bottom block, and preventing the player from sticking out of the obsidian to be hit. If you're worried about the tiny gap that would be created by using a stair instead of a full block, you can put another upside down stair next to it which curves it into looking like a full block before being pushed out.

Thanks! After using this trap for some time, i have also realized you can just place a chest over one of the cobble walls and then u mine that cobble wall. Then the player’s hitbox would stick out just a little towards the chest.
