Rams D played out of their minds and the Vikes O-line just seemed confused all game. Darnold was rattled from the get-go and never settled down and never had a chance to.
It's like I've said ever since the Rams left St. Louis. Every game the Rams play is an actual road game, no matter how good they are or how bad they are. This is what make them a legend team over New England and Kansas City. I feel bad for Sam Darnold because this will hurt his future prospects because the Vikings are JJ McCarthy's team now. BTW, Minnesota's four losses were by the Lions and Rams. The Lions beat them in Week 7, then the Rams beat them in Week 8. The Lions beat them in Week 18, then the Rams beat them last night.
Rich Eisen show- The Lions beating the Vikings 31-9 is a sign that they can one & done in the playoffs. Rich Eisen show a week later- The Rams beating the Vikings 27-9 is a sign that they could be NFC champions.
Darnold held the ball entirely too long on 87% of his snaps. That's a bullshit percentage, but y'all know it's true. Now whether that was because the Rams DC was in O'Connell's head and scheming toward reads 1 and 2 before snap or the receivers just weren't getting separation, but it was bad. Seven of those sacks shouldn't have been because the ball shoulda been in the seats if Darnold's internal clock was right. It was ugly.

Was full on the Vikings since week 2. After week 18 I bailed and pretty much knew this would be the outcome vs the Rams. Sam was a deer caught in the lions teeth week 18. After seeing that the rams knew what they had to do. Finish off the Vikings wounded QB and butt his sad sac out of the playoffs. I think Sam is still holding the damn ball.
That 4th down call before the half is the Campbell effect. The whole league has gone 4th down crazy since he started going for it all the time. It's now seen as "bold" instead of what it usually is, which is statistically ill advised. What these coaches don't seem to realize is that Campbell plans his playbook around going for 4th downs. Aaron Glenn gave LA the blueprint to beat the Vikings last week and never looked back
Rich, the guy you voted for, gave them $700. You got what you asked for.
Darnold was seeing ghosts again yesterday.
We can get through this Rich!! I'm ready for rebuilding LA. Let's go.
How ironic is it that State Farm Insurance is responsible for eliminating tens of thousands of policies in SoCal just months before these fires? THEN, the game LA was playing in had to be moved to State Farm Stadium?
12:00 Boston Red Sox did it in 2013
Let's go, LA! Let's go, Rams!
Sharp contrast unfortunately to the Chargers who mostly seem to be unaware they were in a playoff game.
Best of luck, from Downunder.
It's the story sports needs. Like our Olympic athletes in 2002 after 9/11, hopeful the Rams just drive a great escape story for LA.
At the it did not matter, but the forward pass decision was the worst in 20 years! Why nobody is talking about it?
Was full on the Vikings since week 2. After week 18 I bailed and pretty much knew this would be the outcome vs the Rams. Sam was a deer caught in the lions teeth week 18. After seeing that the rams knew what they had to do. Finish off the Vikings wounded QB and butt his sad sac out of the playoffs. I think Sam is still holding the damn ball.
I'm pretty damn sure that the Rams organization will be taking very good care of those warriors and staff.
MCVAY NEEDS TO BE EXTENDED FOR 10 years !
mathew had that soul stealing look in his eyes, and 110% focus.
Those fires just pissed all over Khyree Jackson's memory. How disgusting to forget about that man.
You must have missed the full story that espn had on him before the game.
It's not a spur of the moment dice roll for him. Hopefully guys like KOC are starting to realize that.
