Ahhh! The good 'old days...my friend's mom would give us $5 to walk to the convenient store to buy her cigarettes. We were 10.

I just love Dusty’s take on things as simple as a children’s book or a country song! It’s gosh darn brilliant!
He could do an hour on this book and another hour on "It's 5 O'clock Somewhere".
"We got a couple we're working through right now." That subtle joke is actually the best one!
This is some of the best comedy I have seen recently and honestly maybe in a really long time. He is literally slowly reading us a book we have all read and adding a little funny commentary. The delivery makes a boring idea absolutely hilarious. Nobody else can do this in the same way today. Excellent.

My father died last Thursday & we weren't close....seeing this clip reminded me of reading that book to my kids when they were young. It brought back such fun memories & made me appreciate how good my relationship is with my own children. Thanks for that feeling... brought a huge smile to my face!

Great bit. Comedy aside, if you haven’t signed up for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, do it. We buy a lot of books for our daughter (18 months) but something about that one that comes from the mailbox gets her sooooo danged excited and we immediately have to read it like 5 times. It’s awesome.
Our son is 3 and is still getting a book a month through her program.
My son is turning 5 and devastated that Dolly’s books won’t come anymore.
I’ll probably keep stuffing one in a month just to keep him excited.
