Done in 2 takes, in the first one I didn't set the autosplitter correctly to stop the counter when dying to the sun.
There is no rule that tells that I need to use my ship in this category, so there we go, if I end up hitting correctly the 0-cycle someday I can even manage to deceive people into thinking it is a good run :kekw:

I’m genuinely curious, what’s up with the signal scope at the beginning? Is that used to align yourself?

Yeah, the idea is entering the geyser at an specific point, since it can throw the hatchling towards many different directions. That first rock has a shape that forces one specific orientation, so the signal scope is used for alignment and then we don't move the camera until we are positioned correctly near the geyser, the whole tech is explained in more detail here th-cam.com/video/h_KuR1qKZOY/w-d-xo.html
