Great video. This shows how things were before the modernisation of the WCML with its new trains etc. This video will make a good reference for anyone that wishes to know what the trains were like before the 220/221 and the 390's came to replace them.
    A like from me.

No problem and it is videos like this that will be a handy reference tool for when I make my 1990's based model railway as I am making it about 1995 to 2002/3 where most of the liveries were in transition and when freight had variety of locomotives instead of 95% of it being Class 66's as it is nowadays :).
      All the best

Transport & Simulation Hub Thank you once again.
I have just had a quick look at my video, and it could be enhanced to a better quality.....I may get around to doing that later.
      Cheers................

Dave Cooper I would look forward to seeing a remastered HD version of this priceless footage.
I wonder how popular it would be if you were to sell your railway footage on DVD? I know I would buy a copy for certain mate because this is how I remember the WCML when it was operated by proper trains instead of the lightweight imports that replaced the loco-hauled push-pull stock and HST's :).

Nice video, takes me back a bit. So boring now, just the odd 86 or 90 to break the monotony of units and 66's. One thing I must say is that the first appearance of 47739 she is going south so can't be on a B'ham - Holyhead service perhaps the reverse? Take care. Tim
