To carry on from our Book of Mormon study/challenge we're going to be looking for verses of scripture where we find Christ or where He speaks to us. I will be giving away 3 different prints associated with the Doctrine and Covenants and 1 Nativity statue. I'll draw winners from anyone who comments the verse or verses where they found Christ. The drawing will take place in October.
Reading Schedule and resource books I'm using can be found on my website: ldsgirldoes.ne...
Thank you!❤
I'm excited we are doing DC 10 & 11! Maybe I can catch up on my Articles of Faith!!! I've read it before! It's not an easy read but it does help us to dig deeper into our beliefs. I taught DC as an Early morning seminary teacher! I'm enjoying learning new things in both books!
Oliver did translate very briefly. But he feared. And he took no thought but to ask. Reminds me of Peter walking on the water. He did briefly. But he feared.and doubt it I think all of us fear and doubt too much. Thanks for sharing personal things of your life. In the celestial room, you had a panic attack. After praying we wait for the still small voice to confirm what is right. We get a a stupor of thought if it is wrong. But that panic attack was the biggest message possible for you to get. Great job! Thank you for sharing.
@@DonPurper thank you 🙏
Oliver and Joseph had different gifts given to them. Joseph’s gift was to translate and Oliver’s gift was to write. Oliver could have had the other gift but he feared and stopped instead of studying it out and trying to continue. I wonder what gifts I might have been given if I had been more diligent and less fearful. If I had been more trustful of the Lord. What gifts might I still be given if I seek them?
