That's pretty hefty work. Just saw a video of a man who rented a little 'saw mill' and mill several trees then used the lumber to make a building to dry the wood and then after would be a green house. If you have to move trees like that in the future it may be a consideration to make your own lumber. A splitter for making fire wood is also a consideration, but perhaps you have enough of that. Blessings.
@@333grace I am regretting not saving some for firewood. In the moment I just wanted it done but it would Jane been smarter to set a side a pile for me to trailer home afterwards. Oh well. Appreciate you watching the channel!
FYI: Did you know that the stones on the right hand side of the driveway off 85 are actual Cobble Stones from in front of the Train Station in New London. My dad had a 2 ton dump truck and would pick them up and bring them home. Some of our family has them in our homes also.
If only you weren't afraid of some hard work you'd get things done. OH WAIT, you are a super hard worker and getting so much done. Can you sell the trees as firewood? 👍👍👍
@@wileycoyotesr8623 thank you :) We gave a bunch to the neighbor. Hindsight - I should have kept some that I took to the dump but was just trying to keep things moving while the weather was nice. I love 40 minutes from the house. The dump is only a few minutes away.
Sorry about that Joe - i'll keep that in mind in the future. I try to timelapse as much as possible so people are able to see the project at a high level, without it taking a ton of their time... I imagine as I start getting into the more detailed things (i.e. the construction process) - I imagine I'll start slowing it down quite a bit - explaining more about what is going on, etc... I appreciate your feedback and hope you'll continue watching my videos. -Dave
@@rhodyhomebuyerI think your videos are fine like they are. People that want slower or faster can just adjust their playback speed. I go 2x on talking and back to normal on the timelapse, which btw, your timelapses are perfect, imo. If I thought they were too fast I would simply change my playback speed, not expect you to accommodate my taste. Just found you today and nearly caught up and your efficiency is so impressive! Thanks for allowing us to follow the journey.

I was just talking to my buddy about those stones the other day. Awesome to hear the back story on them!

@@rhodyhomebuyer Your decision on the firewood makes sense. Being considerate of neighbors is always important.
Pretty impressive tractor driving skills! Aren’t you afraid of ChatGPT taking your job?
That’s why I make the video so fast… so it doesn’t steal all my trade secrets. lol
Can't enjoy watching because all the footage is so fast
