This looks like such a good time. Got me hyped for sure. I'm finally making a trip back to my home town for a week. Gonna be hitting up the local park that I haven't skated since I was 14. The icing on the cake is my best friend still skates and we're going to relive our childhood for a bit. Cannot wait ✊🙏
Tell Phil that there's a frontside and backside version of each shove-it and/or bigspin. That was a boardslide backside shove-it out (The one he calls a bigspin). A "big-spin" always requires the skater's body fully rotate a 180 and the board to fully rotate a 360 on the point of landing the trick based of the point the skater pops from. A shove-it is when the skater lands in the stance they started in. *Using wrong terminologies nullifies tricks. Imagine "frontside boardslide to frontside bigspin out".
I'm probably one of the ones that argued for boardslide shuv. Lol. Don't mind if you call it board 270 shuv, or back board back shuv. But in my mind a big spin requires a 180 body rotation. I mean I know what guys mean when they say bigspin and it's not a serious argument or anything, but yeah that's where I'm at with it. But admittedly by that logic board front bigspin would be easy and boardslide back bigspin would be damn near impossible requiring the board to rotate 450 while the body rotates 270 🤷♂️
That’s fair. I always get a chuckle out Ams and Pros calling tricks one thing, and fans of skating calling it something else. It happens a lot, just shows that skate naming is flawed and inconsistent for sure.
BS/FS big spin out its at least a 180 turn out in the board direction. 180 BS body varial FS 180 shuv-it board and body spinning opposite direction not a 90 but a 270 is debatable
@@ZachDoelling Mad respect my man love your skating watching Dan got me watching your content. On the trick its a weird subject matter reminds me of 9Club debating on the nose slide/nose blunt depending on how you approach or leave the ledge/rail or transition/quarter pipe
@@ZachDoelling just a thought we call it a lil spin. 90 degree turn person and board going in and out from a boardslide given the degree of turning? Lol
Okay depending on the the trick I have a prefer landing stance on certain tricks. How about we state how we landed to acknowledge starting stance and landing so we don't need to say the 90 degree turn in or out. i.e. BS boardslide to kickflip into regular stance. would like to hear opinions. lol
Seriously the best Defensive skater in the history of skating! Great games Zach, let’s do it again soon! Need a rematch 🤙🏼👊🏼🍻
Let’s get to it!!

270 nollie shuv with a 45 degree body turn, its a bigspin lol
Nollie front board dream trick
20:56 nose gring and overcrook are 2 different tricks nose grind is balanced over the rail and overcrook is well obviously crooked
