Tommie Gorman's death reported on RTÉ News (25th June 2024)

RTÉ News reports on the death of the much-loved former news correspondent Tommie Gorman. Originally from Sligo, Gorman joined RTÉ in 1980, and is best remembered for his time as the broadcaster's Northern Editor from 2001 until his retirement in 2021. Gorman, who had cancer for a number of years, died at the age of 68, on the same day that legendary GAA commentator Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh also passed away at the age of 93.
