- A quick video about when is the best time to take your STEP 3 exam. Making time to study in residency has been really tough. I just thought I should give y'all a heads up. This is good advice for med students who just finished their interviews for residency. I promise you, you will thank me later.

@@SeanDarmal Its John Martin, turned out the PDF on mountainview website was dated 2021 so I think that makes you PGY-3 already and I wont start till next year. LOL.
Nice to see a new upload. I'm term 2 and I'm a bit stressed about getting ready to apply for residency/getting my CV looking good. Not sure if you have any advice for things to do during the terms or during the summer or even finding a mentor. Glad to see you're doing well
Hey man, that’s great. Good job getting past term one. I know it’s hard as a medical student but try to get any type of publications or poster presentations. That’s probably the biggest help for your cv. It’s very eye catching when the program directors and APDs are looking at your CV

Respect brother. I actually don't want to do any fellowship. There is no field that I am super interested in for doing the rest of my life. Intensive care was pretty cool though.

Hey! I was just debating this topic and glad to stumble upon this. Do you think the content of what you learn in pgy-1 could be helpful to you on the exam though? That’s the one thing I’m struggling with in terms of taking it before or after pgy-1.
