Beautiful!!! I love the tutorial great job, thank you for focusing on how to use a template and why the templates are so important when doing fussy cutting.
I only have 1 sister, but i have a SIL, and had 2 other SIL. I also have some close friends that are like sisters. I got this for me, and it arrived yesterday. I have only made 1 other pieced quilt, all was pre-cut, but i feel confident i can cut what needs to be cut. Thanks for your advice to buy creative grids ruler. The grippers on them are fantastic. I did buy the square in a square ruler for this. Looking forward to getting started.
This is such a great tool and happy that you enjoyed this tutorial! We appreciate your support and glad that you love our products! Thanks for your comment! - Abby
I like to have a slightly wider 1/4" finished on my blocks, more like a floating square in a square. Tool does look interesting tho and would definitely use for fussy cutting.
This is a great tool! If you are ever interested in getting into Foundation Paper Piecing projects, you should. You may enjoy them. Thanks for your comment and happy that you enjoyed this tutorial! - Abby

Hi sammykobayashisan- We do not have a coordinating thread set for the Forever Sisters Quilt kit, but you may enjoy using the Point of View Table Topper kit (same fabric) thread set for the top stitching - www.shabbyfabrics.com/p168749 Hope this helps! -Michelle
We do have smaller squared rulers that you can use to make a smaller block. Here is a link to our website: www.shabbyfabrics.com/search?sortOrder=6&q=square+rulers Hope this can help and thanks for your comment! - Abby
Love this, just wish there was a panel for a sister not sisters. To me it makes no sense to make one for my sister, when it is for sisters. Love the fabric though and the thought.
We do have a “Dear Sister” panel available - You can choose to use this panel, your favorite charm pack & our template to get the same look! Here is a link for that panel: www.shabbyfabrics.com/p151688/dear-sister-panel-natural Hope this helps and happy that you love this project! - Abby
If i may put my 2 cents in I would just say your closest friends could be considered your sisters . Maybe you are close to the ladies in your church or your work place. You don't have to think of it only as your biological sister or sisters. It's just a thought and i do understand where you are coming from. Just embrace the love and have fun.❤😊😊
I thought about that, too, before I knew they made another panel, and thought, well, it could also apply to all the important women in your life or dear friends who are like sisters, but still, you want to have it for just ONE sister as I have, too. Nice that they offer that.
Love this tool. It would be great when doing any panel or just a square in a square quilt. Thank you, Jen and SF. ❤🪡🧵

I'm making 2 kits for my sisters
Nice tool. I have problems with the points, but don't want to get into foundation paper piecing for the accuracy.

Why do you need to reinsert the center square when finally doing your squaring up?
You don't need to reinsert the center square when finally doing your squaring up - Jen just did it for extra grip on the square :) -Michelle

It seems like to me that 2 sisters is plural, so “sisters” in the quilt means you & your sister together.
