I never understood why people think that. I'm Dutch, I'm proud of my ancestors, the Batavians. I never thought people from other countries or continents aren't welcome in my country! Without the multicultural society Amsterdam would be so boring! I'm in class with people from Portugal, Suriname, Morocco, Turkey, Mozambique, China, etc. and it's perfect that way! That doesn't take away that I'm proud of my ancestors and my Norwegian/Swedish blood.
