The bead is too big. There are gaps between the knots that I tie underneath it . I'm using 1mm cord and 8mm beads.
Edit: I tried again with 6mm beads. That works.
Edit again: ok so the 8mm bead worked when I widened the angle of the left corner of the eye shape. If only i could get gemstone beads with wide enough holes to fit in two 1mm strings.
Good job shaping this w/o a macrame board. It's tricky. Thank you for the tutorial.

From where I can get these cords
Ok, I'm getting a little nervous about continuing with this. There is a super short cord...the one we wrapped the button hole with? All the rest are still very long, as we continue on with the very first swirl...I'm concerned because the short cord hasn't been addressed? I don't want to get half way thru this bracelet then run out of cord on that one strand? Does anybody get what I'm saying? Nine are long...one is short. And we're working with all of them the same.

So after you make the first set of lark head knotts, do you take out the original loop? im confused because when you're passing the gold button through the loop made with larks headknotts i dont see the original loop
