Crumbs straight vet ! I been around since 1995 watching his journey also🎥🎞️💵💵🦾
Thanks for highlighting dance culture in Hip Hop, Sway & Team! So dope to hear 'Remind' among everyone else whos mentioned. Much love!!
Man I freakin teared up on that introduction. Mannn! Grew up on Style Elements. The boty routine and battle with Japan is still legendary.
Stockton in da' buildin'! Shout out to Style Elements! 209 in da' house! Big ups to BBoy Crumbs!
I loved this interview. I'm an OG Poplocker from LA.....aka.....OG Ace Rock . I was in The movie Breakin 2 and I support Crumbs 100%. We have met at Bboy events in the past. He's the real deal and we OGs got his back all the way. God bless to you both Sway & Crumbs. Thanks again for giving this art a platform.
So many people need a crash course on what Hip Hop really is Mainstream rap has strayed so far from its roots that the other elements of Hip Hop seem foreign especially to the consumers of Mainstream rap who mislabel the element of Emceeing as Hip Hop. We need a reeducation campaign reintroducing the Culture to the masses
209 represent! Big up Style Elements! ✊✨🖖
Crumbs! Sway! First time listening! This is so awesome! Been b-boying since 1999. Pre TH-cam era. Still going every week at 46 years of age. Feel like I am 20. Key for me for longevity is plant based diet. Eat your greens! I had full reconstructive knee surgery when I was 25. Diet switch healed my knee arthritis. Recovery is fast.
Style Elements 🙌🏽
Respect first to Sway for allowing and always on top of what we Bboys/Bgirls are up to today, Respect to Crumbs on the info he feels about the US which is all Factssss... I been a part of my Bboy culture from the 80s till today, he spoke up on things that are Factssss about the rappers, the governments, and whoever else that could make a difference in dance culture for HipHop... keep up the good work guys... i enjoyed the interview we need more from different city's to be interviewed because they are many with so much info to give to bright light to the masses... Blessings to you guys and see you down the road...
So much respect Crumbs, Style Elements, and Sway & King Tech!!
Respect to Style Elements Crew 🦾
Thanku sway!! 🙏🏾🫡 real one for the culture !
Game changer for real! All Style Elements influenced the world.
Loved the interview, but the end is golden haha! Bboy Crumbs, the legend! Respect from Rotterdam, Holland.
Omg it's the legendary lecocksportif from the Laylow crew
@@BBOYSD 🙌🏻 LayLow Crew represent!
這有點扯!Love to Crumbs❤
If you can Identify someone in a silhouette that is breakin, than that is the right contribution to this art. - wonda
Yo! Donnie! I remember hanging out with Crumbs, Remind and Gonz at his house in Modesto just hitting session after session. Love this so much!
The OG Bboy crumbs style elements!!!!
Sway you a real one for this!!! Not enough light on the dance element!!! Thank you 🫶
Sway is a real immigrant vulture
@@undisputedtruth6176what exactly does your comment mean?
Ive been around Crumbs a couple times... I use to hang out with Lil Rock, Jetik, Anthrax... the Killafornia crew... back in the Fullerton days... ive actually gone to his house once like man, back in 2006-2007 in LA... quiet dude, but a true legend. I was always very quiet myself, and just observing... hanging out with legendary bboys.. such a fun time! Thank you for being welcoming Donnie!
This dope. Much love to Sway, Crumbs, and the iconic Style Elements Crew!
The homie Donnie aka Bboy Crumbs... killing it as always great interview my brother and big up to my fellow Oaklander Sway, thank you Sway for allowing this interview to happen
Battle Of The Year ‘97 🙌🙌🙌
KINGS 👑
Sway!! Thank you for shinig a light on the DANCE ❤️❤️❤️ no one ever does!!!
Honestly Dancers and DJs are still missing the spot lights and flowers they deserve from folks. Those who know, know though and we see you and thank you.
More content like this for the new generations to take notes.
Interview was 🔥🔥
Muy buena entrevista!
Wooooooo lets go!!!!
I love Crumbs and the bboy scene. Them guys are huge inspirations. Huge shout out to Sway for having him on. I do have a different about the 'bling, bling' era and how bboys wasn't getting any love. I think it's all a part of hip hop and a necessity to add to the development of 'emceeing'.....I can debate and talk about forever!
Props to ya crumbs, much love from the 559 🙌😎
Are you guys going to have Tariq Nasheed on to talk about the documentary “Microphone Check”?
FBA is just poisonous racism just needs to stay out of Hiphop Culture
Respect to the Legend Bboy Crumbs 🔥
BIG UP 💯👊🏽
Proud of you!!
The tumbnail was wild 😂😂
Boom
Super dope
♡♡♡
🔥🔥🔥🔥 The real deal
🔥🔥🔥
Yo .... brilliant Look at the Tommy Boy Label ..... All B.BOYS Paris City Breakers.... From Belfast City Breakers. Ireland
they put cricket in the Olympics and im not hating on it. Cricket has been around waaaaaay before breaking and I respect it. We need to root for others not hate or be a sore loser when they don't pick our dance. We have grown so much as a culture to not hate on a sport that has been around since the 18th century.
First & foremost Peace to B-Boy Crumbs & all the Dope B-Boys & B-Girls on this planet. 32:30 is the one of the reasons why the majority of my tru-skool friends/Hip-Hoppas have left this country.
crumbs
One of my fave Sway interviews! Been following Crumbs for 2 decades and he is without a doubt one of THEE LEGENDS! So hyped on this. THANK YOU SWAY!
Flynamic breakers!
The B-boy culture abandoned rap just as much as rappers abandoned the B-boy culture!…for the past 20 years all you hear at jams are funk, soul, drum beats, etc…when was the last time a large bboy event played Erik B and Rakim, Tribe Called Quest or any rap at all??? 24:34
Guy paved the way with his style in the 90s and still killin it nothing but respect to all of style elements crew.👑👑👑👑👑
woooo do work ❤😊
Such an important conversation that needs to continue… BIG UP to all pioneers, ‘90s breakers and beyond ♥️ Thank you SWAY for staying true school and Bboy Crumbs for all your contributions, humility, heartfelt words and the epic outro! “Power in Elements”
Microphone check🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Immediately ❤💯💯💯💯watch that movie!!!!
Microphone check is made by a fraud that is not even from NY causing division
Corny name. Hiphop Propaganda at best
Very interesting interview! And great ending!
Great interview. Salute to realhiphop❤
Sway and Crumbs some of the real ones. True school.

If you want another place to get the real go look up
"Scribble Jam" (battle competition) back in the early 2000s probably further back as well. It had a battle for every aspect of the culture.
Bigup Sway for doing this interview with Donnie, needed rn in today's world
Living Lengend @bboycrumbs !! 🔥🔥💪🏽💪🏽
MICROPHONE CHECK❤️🔱🖤
For the passive aggressive racists in the comments, Hip Hop isn't exclusively black. As a black man who grew up in the 80's ALL ethnicities have been involved since the beginning, I'd even say as far as breaking goes Asians are probably at the top of the mountain right now, graffiti is a world wide art, dj's are international and one of the best Lyricist to ever touch a mic is white, why does race have to be attached to ART, artists are artists regardless of race.
Peeps taking everything too far. We can acknowledge that hip hop is a black rooted culture especially breaking but this nonsense where people will refuse to acknowledge Puerto ricans to contribute and innovate with breaking is stupid and it's always people WHO DONT BREAK, DONT SUPPORT BREAKING, DONT WATCH BREAKING who wanna chat shit. Will say shit like "Black people don't break" while there's been multiple black breakers from the USA taking world titles for YEARS
@@kiddvandal91brother, in the beginning breaking was way more PR than black. Hate to Burst your bubble but it's true. Hip hop has been black and brown from day one.
Well said!
@@robertaceves5248 if you look at the first gen it was predominantly black. You can argue all you want but I've seen the faces, the names, the crews. The second generation was predominantly PR.
"Best lyricist to ever touch the mic is white" No, just no. To you personally, cool however that's far from facts.
Big up To PoeOne ... brilliant from the Belfast City Breakers
Crumbs my favorite bboy to watch battle when I was in high school.
Love for Crumbs!! Sharing the knowledge. Interview Would’ve been way better but if Sway invited KMel and Remind
Breakin’ has been infiltrated by Red Bull and by the Olympics. The organization behind getting Breakin into the Olympics is the WDSF. The WDSF are ballroom dancers and Breakin is now a discipline of ballroom dance.
That’s a very simplistic way to put
@@benjaminakerman5066 not sure why people don’t talk about Breakins inclusion into the ballroom world 🤔
Living Legend
crumbs gettin stem cells let's go!
Uhh sway you know you outta pocket you shoulda reached out to Tariq
Y...he's...not hip-hop
@@BasloniousFunk he literally made a whole documentary with hip hop historians coming out in the next couple weeks this sis why this is a hot topic and swat got a white dude out of all ppl to talk about hip hop when Tariq is pushing the hip hop documentary it makes no sense
Hip hop isn't exclusively black
@@rotooki1154 it’s not now but it was and that doesn’t get acknowledged, black Americans started a genre millions of ppl eat off of, we just want our credit for building the foundation of this country
Probably cuz they know enough to see that Tariq is pushing a whole lot of misinformation and division as always and he's NEVER been deeply involved in Hip Hop. Crumbs is 30 years deep.
CRUMBS!
Microphone Check been out and The breakfast club or Sway didn’t reach out…
Doesn’t That Seem Suspicious 🤨 (Umar Voice)
Very
I'm glad they're giving no light to it. Its division and its misinformation.
None of u...cats...talking microphone check...are qualified to have this discussion...TRUST ME...
There a reason for that mainly bc it’s misinformation
Microphone Check!
SECOND TO NONE , BELFAST CITY BREAKERS. BAD TASTE CREW ... ALWAYS ROCK TUFF ,, ETC 90, Ss
Microphone Check #FBA
#FFBA
Yall pay attention…there’s no Microphone Check promotion but now they’re promoting “Untold Journey” of non Blk Americans. This is why Microphone Check was needed! Shoutout to Trixie!
They’re promoting a major player in a subculture of hip hop who helped pave the way for many of us who grew up in the breakin world
Black or non black has nothing to do with it
Check yourself on that
Amen 💯
No dis to Tariq...but he ain't hip-hop...he shouldn't have been the 1 to do that movie...if u don't know who PHASE2..is... there's no hip-hop in ur discussion
Hip hop isn't exclusively black, as a black man who grew up in the 80's I saw people of ALL ethnicities in all elements of hip hop. If you're upset about the promotion of microphone check tell those in charge of it to step their marketing game up 🤷🏽♂️
@@rotooki1154 the argument isn't hip hop is exclusively black, its more like, The foundation of Hip Hop was exclusively black (FBA more specifically). Let's talk.
This is coming from someone with ties to the Bronx in the 80's. Sedgwick and Ceder Aves to be specific, River Park Towers
Lol ask tariq nasheed
He's not the authority on hiphop..
Crumbs the orginal pioneer doing gems ..
Leave that FBA dude outta this. Yes I’m a black American before you ask.
🗣️Tether Alert 🚨
Real talk. Dude is an opp, just trades off controversy and division. We all know this is a black rooted culture and artform but the Puerto Rican kids really took breaking up a level late 70s/early 80s. Ain't nothing wrong acknowledging this.
@@kiddvandal91insecurity won't allow many to acknowledge this.
@@Rio-uv1gs it's ridiculous really.
Tell my dad Eminem hi
Culture vulture are losing their minds. Lord have mercy, to hear them talk about Black culture . There is only one element, Black culture.
Yeah, well when bruthas & Sistas tried to trade in Gold for something of a lesser value, the race thing has just become a defense mechanism for the weak. peace✌️
Prove where Crumbs is a culture vulture.
Folx...speaking..black....if u don't know about PHASE2 then shut ya mouth
Fun fact. The majority of Bboys are Hispanic in the states, always been. RockSteadyCrew and New York City Breakers were predominantly Puerto Rican.
So unique to Black culture. Rap/ hip hop Black Americas gift to the world. Sway is a culture vulture
🤡🤡🤡
Just so you know, Crumbs ethnicity is rooted in Panama 🇵🇦. Don’t be so quick to judge a book by what your perception interprets of the cover.
So the parallel to what you posted is basically stating if sway is a vulture that's like sayin Bruce Lee was a vulture because he spread the knowledge to ppl outside of the Asian race. Also that's like stating that every black person that does Asian martial arts is a culture vulture.
@@rotooki1154Bruh, ppl like this are most likely one the factors in why the ppl who decided the L.A. Olympics chose "squash" over Breakin. Peace
How can you say a man who has put his entire life into this genre for years, is a culture vulture¿.. The disrespect is unreal..smh Sway is one the last of dying breed..crazy
