I’m blown away at how well made an planned out this new milking stand is! This is a huge game changer for y’all. The goats did pretty damn good for their first try. As soon as they are use to it they will go right to a spot every time. I can’t believe how well the littlest girls even did. You guys did awesome with that stand seriously you should be proud. Derek is a hell of a craftsman.
I simply love the fact that you have a family ran goat ranch. The kids (young adults) looks like they enjoy what they are doing & not being forced to help out. Great job everyone. Love the new parlor & I'm like everyone else, can't wait to see it in action!!!!

What about attaching some rubber mats to that platform it will give them sure footing and also it'll be easier to clean and it will help protect the wood from early damage from where and what not. Good job Derek it looks really awesome I can't wait to see it all being in progress. Now you need more machines Crystal. Be great if you can get more huh. They all think yay a new place to play and we get to eat too.

Wow what a milk parlor!~ Just a few suggestions to help...maybe add some rail-spindles, or some wire on the outside of the ramp to help keep the little ones from ducking under and getting to the outside. It's beautiful and they will get used to it quickly. It looks like fun for them to run up and down the ramps. I think Derek is a keeper for those building skills he has!
Great job all! Just wondering if it might be better if the food trays were on the inside??….seems quite a stretch for their poor necks. Of course the neck secured features would be moved to the inside too. Advantage for those doing milking is not having so dang far to reach! Just a thought as an observer👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

One improvement would be plywood between the head gates. My goats will try to get to the feed without putting there heads in the gate. if they can't get to food except through the gate they will go there right away and mine have there horns.
The sound of all those hooves...... "Who's that trip trapping over my bridge!" I love it.
