for internationals that come with limited space, what can you say is essential to bring to our dorms and which are the best places to buy essential stuff (nearby college)?
There is a huge target right off of campus that has everything you could need. I learned that less is more in a dorm just because of the limited space. As far as essentials I would just say bring some things from your home to make the room more inviting and cozy:)
When choosing your classes use the campus map. Couch is the furthest dorm so having classes that are in dale or other close buildings like that is really nice especially when the Oklahoma winds and rain come. I’m a ballet major so my classes are on the other side of campus no matter what so lots of my friends got bikes which were super helpful in making it to class. Hope that helps:)
hey! incoming freshman rooming @couch this year.. just wondering, what all already came in the dorm ? thank you love the vid and your dorm is superr cute💕
Thanks for watching!! The dorms are pretty basic with a bed, desk +chair, and a dresser. You don’t really need furniture but a cart/table for next to your bed is super useful.
I’m going to be a freshman this fall staying in couch. Can you explain to me the height of the bed and how you can make it different heights? I bought bed risers but I didn’t know you can change the height already. Thanks!
On move in day you can raise your bed, I think there are 5 levels and that makes a big difference. I had friends who put their beds at the top level and then used risers so their beds were really tall. I would honestly recommend that because you have a tone of space for storage w/o lofting your bed:)
Awesome room tour! Thanks for sharing!
Such a smart idea with the lights!!!
Can family come and visit ur dorm? And can people sleepover in ur dorm ( like friends or family)??
Hey girl where did you get the wooden shelf behind your fridge?
On the website it says that you have to use public bathrooms. Is that not the situation anymore?
Did you bring the under bed drawers and the drawers under your desk or were they provided?
OU provided the desk and under bed drawers:) Thanks for watching!

Holley Johnson that helps a ton. Thank you so much. Maybe I’ll run into you on campus sometime.

Where did you get the shelf/cart that your mini fridge sat on?
