I have already completed my group 1 in old syllabus & I have exemption in SCMPE in Nov 23 exams, as per earlier guidelines of ICAI, it will be set off against set B . So I guess I don't require to give SET A or SET B. Can Someone clarify this ?

Those who have cleared intermediate by writing 8 papers, for them only Set A & B….
Those who have cleared IPCC by writing 7 papers, for them Set A, B & either of Set C or D.
If someone has cleared inter by writing 7 papers & Final group 2, Set B will be exempted… so

There is nothing unique in this case .u have to go for set a and b before appearing nov 24
But yesterday I had called to ICAI BOS n they said it very clearly that those students who had cleared inter/ipcc with 7 subjects, they have to mandatorily to give Set A, B & either of set C or D in every case.

Sir I cleared Group 1 IPCC in Nov 2018 (Subjects comprising of Accounting, Business Law Ethics and Communication, Cos Accounting and FM and Taxation)
Cleared Group 2 in May 2023 (Subjects comprising of Advanced Accounting, Auditing and EIS & SM.) FM & Economics exemption was given by ICAI as I Passes FM in 1st group.
