Watched pretty much the whole game last night. Wow. I’m not an SEC or B12 fan, but here are my observations:
1. UGA’s defense is just SICK. This reminded me of how they played against Florida earlier in the season. Impressive to say the least.
2. Offensively, UGA left a lot of points on the field. Score could have been much more lopsided, but as I understand it, they were without a number of starters (was it like 10?) for this game.
3. Baylor played with tremendous heart, and fought until the very end, but Georgia was bigger, stronger, faster, better, and it showed.
4. As a cfb fan, I’m excited to see what happens in the SEC next season because obviously the Georgia program is here to stay.
Yeah our offense is bad but we are about to be top in recruiting and picked up 4 3 star wide receivers 1 5 star wide receiver and a 4 star quarterback. Combining that with our defense is scary.

When LSU crushed Georgia in SEC Championship, many said Georgia sucked and was overrated. Nope. LSU is making everyone look bad. Georgia showed they are pretty darn good.
Nope. Lsu should have lost to a depleted bama and auburn. Georgia beat a terrible team out of a terrible conference. That doesn't mean Georgia is good.

Blitz Studios Both of our starting Tackles, Tyler Clark, and JR Reed didn’t play. Swift also didn’t play on offense. Baylor had EVERYBODY. Those sacks Cade Mays was giving up wouldn’t have happened with Thomas or Wilson.

Georgia defense never gave up a rushing touchdown all year to a RB, both given up were by QB.
Georgia's defense has too much talent for Baylors offense.
I'm so glad Georgia showed up to play this year , I was real skeptical after last year plus all the players that sat out.
You could tell Georgia was motivated this time. They were livid about the previous year's embarrasment plus getting routed by LSU. All that pent up frustration was unleashed correctly in this game. Baylor's lucky they didn't lose worse.
Georgia’s defense played ferocious. They are going to be special next year. I really think Fromm will return for his senior year.

Georgia's offense looks even better than this next year they'll be in the playoffs for the national championship I mean our defense is great it's just our offense needs improving our defense needs to keep doing what they're doing.

No..They lost to one of the worst teams in the P5 and got blown out by LSU..We would have got blown out by Clemson OSU too..Georgia did manage to knock some of that bad juju off tho and get the W.
Georgia's offense wasn't up to par this year. Maybe if Cager doesn't get hurt for most of the season they could have won those games they lost, the games they had him their offense looked pretty decent. But I don't think they could have beaten OSU, LSU, AND Clemson.
I wish they would have made it, but LSU made us look bad so we didn't deserve it.
Evan Vogt , also as a Buckeye fan, I agree. I follow all of cfb (as much as I can from EST zone). UGA is strong, fast, and aggressive. This game reminded me of how they played against Florida earlier in the season. Very dominating performance.
I think the SEC Championship game wasn’t a fair assessment of UGA. They looked beat up, and if I’m not mistaken they were still without several key players due to injury at that time. Not saying they would have beaten LSU, but I definitely think it would have been closer if they were full strength.
The big question for next year will be if Dan Mullen can get his Gators back up to national prominence. SEC East could have one hell of a season without Joe Burrow leading LSU, and if the Tide doesn’t right their ship. Could be interesting.

There's no hope in TX. All of our top recruits go elswhere. Usually to Oklahoma. There's never been a better recruiter than Mack Brown in TX football. Props to Baylor tho, they were outmatched but played with a lot of heart. Would've rather seen them play lsu than Oklahoma's no extra charge for happy ending, lay face down defense.
pilgrim's progress it doesn’t help that us 5 (Baylor, Texas, TCU, Texas Tech, and Texas A&M) split the recruits so we just have a bunch of decent or ok Texas teams instead of a championship winning Texas team

I just don't understand how you could watch Fromme and Fields during practice and think Fromme is better for your program going forward?? In this day and age there is no way. Fromme even threw a beauty of a td last night and still don't think he comes anywhere near Fields talent. IMO
Fields has a much higher ceiling, and I'm with you as a UGA fan I saw the writing on the wall that he was gonna transfer. I was thinking no way Smart will bench a QB that just almost won a natty the year before, even if he has a bad game or 2. I really wish he would have stayed, but from what I understand he had a hard time learning the offense and reading defenses. He's much better at a school that runs a systematic offense that makes even average QBs look good.

Dawgs 1st string refs played a wonderful game. Non-call on obvious pass interference, non-call on the Dawg O-line for holding about 10 times. Not to mention the cheap shot to take starting QB Brewer out. No surprise the Dawgs "won"... the 1st half and got outscored by Baylor's 3rd teamers in the 2nd half. Blue-bloods shameless entitlement enforced by zebras ruined what was a much closer game than the comments these biased fans are leaving. Yes Dawgs should have won big cuz their 2s and 3s are rated higher than most of the Bear starters, not to mention the refs blatantly biased calls at the most inopportune times for the Bears. Just sayin.

Good win Georgia. I see so many people on here now saying how dominant Georgia was and the sec is the best. Lol. Majority of the people were bashing them before the game and now they are die hard Georgia fans. You are bashing Baylor now and I think Baylor did great for a program that came from the bottom. Georgia's 2 and 3 string is still more talented than Baylor due to their recruiting. Sec fans still don't get why people give them so much grief because of how they act when they win a game. Ok State gave Texas A&M a battle and K-State lost to Navy because of a trick play, but other that...a pretty accurate assessment.
The Big12 had horrible matchups so that doesn't help.
I feel like if Jake Fromm can be consistent Dawgs can win it next year because Fromm sucked this year. He doesn’t move out the pocket sometimes and his throwing accuracy has to get better
He misses too many open receivers, sometimes I feel he is way too cautious....he needs to have more confidence.

@@jaytea3633 no they aren't. He has a weak arm, that is just a fact. It is obvious to tell when it is a route issue vs a weak arm issue. Take the first huge pass to Pickens for example. That's a TD if he doesn't have to come to almost a stop to catch an underthrown ball. That then turns into a field goal instead of 7 points. In big games that kills us.

@Faint nE that’s so wrong. Fromm has amazing arm strength but you just don’t see it. He makes elite level throw on out routes that you can’t make if you don’t have arm strength. And that one to Pickens, Fromm put it on him because they’ve had trouble with timing in the past on deep balls and a way to fix that is to just stick it right on him. He’s a great QB with amazing arm talent and maybe some of the best football IQ in college at the moment.
Why do other fanbases hate on Georgia. Every time someone says something about the team someone argues with them in the comments. Like go hate on Tennessee they cheered when Chubb got hurt

Strongly disagree, No Disrespect. Georgia and Florida are full of talent in their states. GA has more players in the NFL than anybody. You can't get all your players in state. Kirby recruits the ESPN top 300 last year he got 19 0f the 300. We have been banged up all year. LSU won't be nearly as good as last year Joe Burrow is not replaceable as Alabama will be back in control of the West.

Get this: Baylor has now lost EVERY major bowl they've played in except for the 1957 Sugar Bowl. Other than that, they've lost three Cotton Bowls, the 1952 Orange Bowl, that Fiesta Bowl against UCF, and now against you guys. They are just HORRIBLE in most of their big games.

I love this game and others comment sections are completely normal but every comment section of a Michigan game is just everyone picking apart and destroying them. can someone explain how GA is no 5 and Alabama 13 when both have 2 losses. Lsu edged out alabama by 5 and beat georgia by 21. Both teams lost to a team they should not have. Georgia's loss was to a weaker team. There is no logic here at all

I understand that I'm old school and maybe even a curmudgeon, but I simply do not understand these players sitting out to "prepare for the NFL." These kids signed a contract to represent their respective schools and they break that contract by not doing so. To me it represents the highest form of selfishness and says to their teammates "I don't give a rat's ass about you."

You are right about one thing Brendon, I don't understand teams tanking to get a better draft pick, I don't understand why someone would go through the physical and emotional demands for four years only to say, FU with two weeks left in their careers. I am a fan and if I'm going to spend three hours watching the commercial bonanza that these bowl games have become (think super Bowl on steroids) then I want to see the very best players maximizing their efforts. Three additional weeks of practice doesn't make these guys better? If you are good at what you do, then you WANT to test yourself against the best. IMO these guys, who have been told how great they are, are scared to death to go against some real competition. UGA played three teams this, until yesterday, that are ranked, and I happen to believe that some of these guys who sat out for NFL reasons were scared of being exposed for being less than everyone thinks they are. Remember when Hurts was the shoe in for the Heisman? What happened? When OU played quality competition he tanked. This isn't preseason or some exhibition game, this is the last game 99+% of these kids will EVER play. My kid just finished his high school career this past fall with a loss in the second round of the playoffs (they got a bye the first week) and when the game was over the parents were allowed on the field to met their kids. He was bawling like a baby, he absolutely bear-hugged me four times in that end zone repeating over and over, "I Can't dad. I can't do it." when I asked what he couldn't do, he said "I can't leave the field. This is the last time I will EVER play competitively and I love my teammates and when I walk off that field it will never happen again. I just can't do it." He played half of this season with his hand in a cast, robbed of much of his capabilities, because he broke his hand n two places in a game. He didn't miss a single practice, he attended every film session and he worked his ass off. In his entire four year high school career, his team won just four games, 1 game each season. My son, who truly didn't sign a contract to play, showed more dedication to his teammates and his school, more commitment, and more heart, than those who sat out these games for "NFL prep". You can say what you will brendon, but you won't convince me otherwise.
