@@DIMON13585 Yeah, but they still run decent. I got the Asus Dual, just cause it was the like $80 cheaper than other brands when buying. Runs below 60C most the time, plays everything fine. Woulda much preferred an XFX or Sapphire, but in the end, price to performance is what matters.

It's less a GPU issue, and more of an optimization issue. It's the game devs we need to be annoyed with, or in many cases, the publishers for rushing out products for profit.
The 6700 XT was my first GPU (well, in fact it was a 1050 TI, but I changed it pretty quick bc it came with the used PC I bought). And damn, it's a real fighter!! When the day comes when it becomes obsolete, the end will come 🥶
Considering its price the 7700xt is not doing as well as you would think. I can get the 6700xt for 420 Canadian while the absolute cheapest 7700xt is 589 black Fridays special but the normal price is 619 at the cheapest. So for around 200 dollars for the normal price and 15 percent GST tax it comes up to 483 CAD with free delivery for the cheapest 6700xt and the 7700xt comes to 678,50. Its not worth the extra money in Canada.

The 6700 XT (or RDNA2 in general) isn't capable of showing total board power, it can only display the power consumption of the chip itself (usually around 170-185W max), so this doesn't look like real comparision but rather a simulated scenario.

The card has 230W TDP but RDNA2 can't show Total Board Power, just the GPU chip consumption, so the rest is VRAM and so on. I have an overlay always active and it's not possible to get beyond the above stated value. That's why I blocked this channel, it's most likely faked.

Last Gen's 6800 (and up) GPUs & the new 7000 series have serious power issues @ video playback (youtube, Netflix, video players etc.) 40+ W is stupidly HIGH & meaningless... and while the previous 6700 XT consumes only 16W, the new 7700 XT doubles that power draw with a whooping 33W on "video playback" AMD should solve that power issue @ video playback at least in the next 8000 series. No, I'm NOT UpGrading. I'll stay with RX 6700XT until the next Gen.
Did you test it with some physical equipment? Because AMD has changed something in TDP readings, so it shows total power draw in 7series instead of "not total power draw" that 6series has.
Why is your FPS so low?? I have 6700 xt + i5 13600k and I have higher FPS than you on 1440p You also have DDR5 6000. Even with ray tracing, you should have higher FPS than that.

Kinda did the same thing, but a 1080ti for 180$ and got an xfx 6700xt for 250$, used for not even an year and it still has 2 year of warranty left
Im getting 90 fps in Ratchet and Clank, on 6700xt same settings. You must have Nvidia drivers installed this impacted my performance drastically

traded my 3070 for a 6700xt+200$ back in 2021 - got same perf + cash
I switched to amd from Nvidia also, although my performance on paper is better, doesn’t feel as crisp. I still enjoyed saving money, the value is 👌
And 4GB more VRAM too.

I'm guessing that's with one monitor, as my 6700xt uses 33w using two 24'' 1080p monitors, but will drop to around 15w while using a single monitor.
