I have the MCM Liz tote and you won’t get a better value out there period , I LOVE my Liz tote , I use it as my work bag and have had it almost 3 years and it looks and feels BRAND NEW ! You won’t regret this purchase , trust me , people sleep on MCM , they shouldn’t, it’s n amazing brand !! Quality is 1000% Excellent ! Hope this helps you too ❤️

I LOVE my Neverfull. It's a workhorse for sure. It goes with everything! I've had mine for 10 years and it still looks great. It's been around the world with me.
MCM Liz is my first love. It definitely feels luscious. I used to carry it a lot. Still looks brand new. Beautiful bag.
I bought the medium sized LV neverful back in 2009 for $840.00. Mine is still in great condition.

I love love love my Gucci Ophidia tote. It was my first ever luxury purchase and I love it just as much today as I did unboxing it a year ago. It's recognizable but not played out, the beautiful suede inside, the leather straps, god I love it
I own a few Goyard bags and an LV neverful GM and let me tell you, the Goyard is far better quality than the LV. Got multiple colors in the St Louis GM, can’t tell the difference between the one I bought 15 years ago and the one I bought last year when it comes to wear and tear. The leather around the opening is still perfect unlike the LV neverful thats falling apart.
Maybe for you it’s ok bug the quality is not there.
I love my Neverfull MM & Goyard GM St. Louis Tote - these are my favorite totes! Can’t help myself. MCM is just not aesthetically appealing to me.
I think new customers will find what I've known since the 90's
MCM quality is superior in even the most inexpensive pcs. And has remained so while other top end malletiers has dropped while raising prices considerably

My number one rule when I buy designer is no canvas for me I prefer 100 percent leather because I bought the Dior tote and was pissed because it’s just fabric and my friend has the knock off and looks the same if not better I was shocked. Same with the saint laurent tote I bought it then returned so many ppl get fakes and they look real . But leather bags always stand the test of time.
I actually have the GM On the Go in Empreinte Leather and it’s amazing! I do not regret it! I also be eeying the Fendi Sunshine Totes. I went to the Fendi Store and they look amazing and really spacious. Definitely on my Wish List.
But Now I wilk have to take a closer look at the Bottega Venetta tote it’s gorgeous and so different!
I have both the MCM and Neverfull and prefer the MCM… much better made!

@@nadinavas3981 I was unable to find the right insert, so I just got some nice catch-all bags for soecific purposes ie. one for make-up, one for my asthma inhaler, tylenol. Those Amazon ones are all made for Neverfulls

I have had a YSL shopping bag for the past five years, and still in excellent condition; I also bought it in Italy for 600 euros, way cheaper than its price now. I do, however, agree you can buy a better style for 900 euros or $1k.

The large MCM was my tote through 2 yrs of grad school. Used to load with books and supplies. It looks brand new, now 3.5 yrs later. So sturdy, very strong, easy to hold, so nice!
I bet it is. It looks very sturdy but I cant stand the monogram all over the bag, I wish it comes with the plain one. Sad the YSL one looks floppy.

Like I don't even do LV monogram, but do their other print for that reason only. So, I get it. But hey, maybe see in person and that'll change, carry in the store. I liked this video idea Sergio! I prefer backpacks if I’m going to be carrying something that is larger but I do like mini totes like the little ones from Telfar and of course the Celine nano luggage tote 🥰 I’ve never been a huge fan of the Neverfull. I just find it very uninspiring and basic. So for such a basic shape on can get a fab contemporary option.
Great list Sergio! I agree with all your ratings. I have an LV Neverfull and an MCM Liz and your review is on point. I grab my MCM Tote before the LV for it’s durability. It also helps that she’s a gorgeous piece that ages better with time. I have many MCM pieces (a collection I guess 😂) and the quality is unmatched. I have my eye on the Louboutin tote! Thanks for that recommendation! 💛

I love my Goyard totes because they aren’t everywhere, lightweight, weather friendly and are well made if you don’t load it down with heavy stuff.
Me too it is so light weight and love the little pouch that comes with it. Some wear on the corners after 10 years wear but a definite keeper

I have two and I love them much more than the Neverfull because they weigh nothing. Once I put all my stuff and keys in a bag, they are so heavy...but not the Goyards.

My YSL totes are fine. I have dumped keys, books and laptops. But they are pretty sturdy. Didn’t get the scratches on the lining and my 3 year old navy tote still looks okay despite being dumped all around. All bought from the boutique on sale.
I love the Gucci ophidia tote. The MCM bag is cute but Gucci tote looks the best out of them.

I bought my LV Neverfull MM for $980 in 2012. Sold it to Fashionphile for $750 in 2021. So glad I sold it, was so tired of seeing it coming and going.

I have the saint laurent tote, so durable. Have had it over a year n still looks brand new. Wear it daily. I wipe it down with leather conditioner for my car seats n it’s beautiful. The inside doesn’t scratch at all, it’s a raw leather suede. I would recommend wearing it with a purse organizer to keep the shape. I’m contemplating the Gucci jumbo GG ophidia tote, make a vid on that one please!!

I’m just not a fan of MCM monogram. I have the neverfull in DE and the Christian louboutin tote. I’m not a tote person in general but I’ll choose the Marc Jacobs tote bag over them all lol I have three of them.
I agree about the goyard tote . I don’t think it’s worth the price and I don’t like the lack of structure . Also it’s just as popular as the neverfull in my opinion . The airport is full of neverfulls and goyard totes lol

I brought my wife the Gucci Opheila tote and wallet , phone case,cosmetics bag, and iPod case and I purchased the Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM with the card case , wallet cosmetics bag and agenda she love the Gucci Opheila the best I even purchased the tennis shoes to match her tote The Gucci is a far better bag she won’t stop using it hope this helps!
I got my neverful mm in momgram I believe in 07’ for seven hundred plus tax. Wanted a newer one just for the pouch but I'm not sure now because of the price increase. I love MCM bags , I have two so far and purchased two Liz totes for my sisters three yrs ago.

I use to work at Nordstrom Mayfair Mall and MICHGAN AVE the designer handbag and fashion accessories department!! I dreaded selling MCM because I just really didn’t care for the big bold mcm all over the tote handbag but I would let them know they’re going to get their bang for their buck of course because it’s copying the style of the LV neverfull those handbags were rarely coming back as well. YSL was a hit and miss for the Wisconsin market because I’ve been noticing the vendors for YSL when it came to the leather they’re not being consistent with their leather vendors. I had this one customer returned a small leather good which was a YSL card holder the threading was popping and all she had was just 2 major credit cards and her school ID. We’ve spent so much time with her and I wanted her to exchange it and look into a Gucci leather card holder or a Chanel leather card holder but she went back to YSL because she noticed all her friends at her college she was going to was wearing it and I was trying to broaden her horizons and also say you don’t want what everyone has as well like standout on your own. But she got another YSL leather card holder from me and also the quilted cross over. Lord let me tell you the threading was popping again for both collections!! I was just shocked and wondering like are you being rough with these leather goods? I get you’re a college student and going to school you on the go but the collections she got from me personally you would think she would just use them for going out when I explained that too her it’s really not like an “everyday” handbag long story short she exchanged it and went with Gucci which I’m a big fan of as well. But back to mcm it’s a great starter handbag for anyone who’s getting into designer goods or for someone who wants to use it as a beater bag per say like their everyday handbag and not really feel guilty for beating it up cause it’s mcm and I had lots of customers like that.
I go to Mayfair Nordstrom all the time!! I wish they’d step it up and carry Gucci, LV and even YSL so we could see in person before purchasing online. Although it is very convenient to return something to the store instead of having to ship it back. I always pray that I’ll get lucky and find a return of a high end luxury bag when I shop there. Lol.
@@beemergirl8498 that’s all I was selling at the Mayfair location lol not every Nordstrom can have an LV boutique or Chanel boutique or Gucci because they want to keep up their scarcity and also we needed consistency from our customers. I was also selling red bottoms a lot. I was the one that brought us Canada goose and moose knuckle to our store no one knew what was moose knuckles until I was walking around with my jacket back in late 2018-2019. So I seriously tried bringing A LOT of designer there but it’s all up to the customer like the masses of them to be consistent like Chicago and other bigger cities.
I'm kind of sad you didn't mention LOEWE at all. They have great totes with double handles. I recently got one and the quality is insane. The finishing and the leather is the best I've ever seen in a tote. Not cheap at all, but completely worth it IMO. The Neverfull is a good bag, but it is everywhere... I'm kind of sick of it at this point. Especially for that price. MCM has awesome quality. I have a bumbag and it is my go to for concerts and such. I know that nothing will happen to it even if someone spills their drink on me :D the LV Wave Bum is also great. I have it in black and it's superb.
Which Loewe tote did you purchase? I was interested in getting the canvas tote for the summer as it seems so durable and would not be heavy and still looks luxurious.

MCM is by far my favorite!! You said it about that wristlet it's what I use on a daily and it holds my wrap around wallet, phone, keys it's huge love it!!
The LV Neverfull has gone up do much in price...$2100.00 for the GM. The MCM Liz is a great alternative.
Goyard, don’t bother! The handle break, the bag does not wear well at all , don’t buy it
I got a LV never full GM before the price increase, I've wanted it for years but idk if I would get new now that its $2100. that's almost $500 more than what I paid back in September 2021... ridiculous
I love my MCM tote. Great quality and can't go wrong with the price., I find myself using the clutch more than the actual bag because the Large tote is HUGE and definitely not an everyday bag
I love my MCM Liz tote, I would never choose the LV neverfull as much as I enjoy LV. I’m so happy you mentioned the Louboutin i feel it’s so underrated but definitely quality, quality, quality. I wish the straps were a little bit longer for more comfort i tend to wear it on my forearm.

For a long time, as Chanel prices have risen, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I would be happy to have a LYXBAG as a travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one would have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
I can't believe that he said the fugly ass MCM bag is better than the LV. I see the MCM totes everywhere as they are much more affordable. I see the most ratchet people wearing them. I love my DE NF, my Gucci Matelassé Tote, and my St Louis Tote. I got mines for $1100. I've had my St. Louis tote and I'm in AZ mines is in amazing shape after owning it over a year. It's my favorite travel bag and I use a purse organizer. I do love the OTG GM for traveling or when running errands. The Chloe Woody isn't stylish I prefer my Marc Jacobs The Tote Bag in full calf leather. I love my small Dior Book Tote it's beautiful and very versatile. I just wish it had straps. I love Bottega bags. I prefer the padded cassette bags (I own two). The Tote was a hard pass for me.
I’m a tote girl through and through and need it for my lifestyle. Was going to get a Neverfull this year but ran into the Gucci Ophidia tote when I was searching for another bag on the site and I LOVE it. I agree that it looks a bit classier and more upscale just due to the details than the Neverfull and this is coming from a die-hard Louis customer. It’s actually my fave luxury brand but I have to admit that Gucci’s tote is better.
I got the Ophidia tote two years ago when it first came out and I love it. I’m a tote girl and I always resisted the Neverfull because it is too common. The Ophidia tote won’t disappoint and it comes in different options now.

Sergio, im very surprised you didn’t mention the last Tory Burch Gemini link tote that were made. Coated canvas with a middle strip of thick fabric They were very good quality and price point was awesome for the quality. They no longer sell them I think now they are called the geo print and made with different material

Thanks for this video Sergio :) MCM is phenomenal quality and they plate their gold hardware with real gold. And their black totes are nice. And correct me if I’m wrong but I believe the Gucci tote has a zipper which I think is a nice feature
I totally forgot about the mcm hardware and the Gucci tote does not have a zipper :( that would be a huge plus tho!!!

Goyard St Louis Tote is great if you already have other totes. But I love love mine and wear mine all the time. If I want more structure, the Amazon organizer gives it that. If I want more slouchy, i takeout the organizer. There’s something special about goyard but not a good work horse bag

I got my Chloe woody tote in beige with black trim over Christmas and I lovvvve it! It’s totally year round cos I wore it all winter plus you can dress it up or down. I have worn it with black suits to work and with a summer maxi dress. I was concerned about fabric stain so I sprayed it with a fabric protector when I first got it. Awesome buy!

Hey! I used scotchgard. It did not stain but you have to be careful to spray evenly and lightly. 2-3 coats. Look up videos. Another plus is that I am yet to see someone in real life carrying this bag. It’s so fresh and unique and I get compliments on it every time I carry it. It’s not over-saturated yet like some other totes.

My daughter has the large black MCM tote which I love! I plan on purchasing the brown one, maybe in medium though my bags are usually a large.
It feels great, is sturdy (she’s a college student and throws EVERYTHING in it), the best price point and I love the gold emblem which I believe is actually plated in real gold. She doesn’t reverse hers but she gets a lot of wear out of the little mini bag. I want one!! Lol!!

Love love Goyard St. Louis GM - I think people misuse it & put heavy items too often. I have carried my Mac laptop in mine but only occasionally & not for long periods.

Great video on totes !! I did a lot of research before I purchased my work bag Aka tote and I am sooooo happy I purchased my MCM LIZ tote in Medium size , that tote is a work horse , so VERY WELL made and the coated canvas is to thick and luxurious, best luxury tote ever made imo. I’ve had it for almost 3 years and it looks brand new , no wear on it at all and not to mention the pouch that comes with it is A-MAZING !!! You guys the MCM Liz tote is the best tote value and craftsmanship !! Thank you for the video Sergio , I almost purchased the YSL tote and so glad I didn’t ❤️😘 I love your channel

Mcm liz is my favorite tote I own 6 of them in different sizes and colors since years and they still look new. Nobtarnished hardware or any other problem. I am very happy to see that others also consider MCM luxury despite the modest price point for luxury. Have a great day🥰😍❤️
