I agree to an extent tbh. Though, from what I’ve heard the last few waves of Jambassadors were mostly Instagram users because they had more Instagram candidates.
At the end of the day, the majority of AJ content creators are putting a lot of thought and creativity into their posts. That's what really matters! As you said- different platforms require different methods. Everyone has their own preference for content; no one is forcing anyone to follow/subscribe to "content farms". For me personally, I cannot find any motivation to post on Insta so I usually re-edit my video thumbnails into a square 😆 P.S. Lovely edit with the character eyes in the thumbnail haha!
I started off on TH-cam and gained my first following there, eventually migrating to Instagram as most of my real life work is video editing already. Both platforms may be very different but I can recognise there is a huge amount of effort needed for both also. It comes to a jammers preference of entertainment. Which is why I can totally understand someone not liking instagram but liking TH-cam or not liking youtube and liking Instagram etc.
I honestly am pretty evenly split between both of these. I think Instajammers still put SO much work into their posts, just as much as AJtubers. My only problem with Instajammers (like someone else in the comments said) is that lots of AJ players are children, which means they do not qualify to have Instagram. Although, considering the world we live in today, lots of kids have Instagram anyway, which I personally don't think is the best, but it isn't really their fault that social media is so open nowadays. Anyway, amazing video! And you made great points. :)
As an instajammer and AJtuber, I can agree how many people fight over who’s better and telling instajammers they aren’t good enough. Honestly I’m in between because I’m both of them.

Awesome video! I agree with all of your points made. Both platforms are cool and a great place to make AJ content! Whether someone is an AJ TH-camr or Instajammer, it is clear that a lot of jammers put tons of effort into their content. Some have very talented skills in video editing (like this video!!) and others are great photo editors. Also, I just noticed I’m in the thumbnail! 😂💕 Thank you!
Oh man I do agree that both sides especially YT takes a lot of work 😭 But I mainly share my artwork on my main Instagram page and AJ on a side page. I also have my art YT channel and this channel here for gaming. It is def a lot of work and I also have an overnight job! So yea it's a LOT of work xD But I'm more in between these 2 categories tbh! I'd prefer YT more as I'm on that platform a lot more than Instagram.
Personally I'm a bit more of a Instajammer. Longform TH-cam content is just not my thing and is hard to produce especially when working a full time job. Lol if anyone wants to they can go take a look. It's not great. My first long video I messed up the audio.

I switched from an ajtuber to an instajammer, only because TH-cam was way too toxic for me and I wasn’t consistent whatsoever (oh and my email got deleted bc it got mass reported.) Yes instagram can be toxic but I’ve had better encounters on there. And I’ve made more friends and met nice people on Instagram, TH-cam wasnt Easy to make consistent content, whereas instagram is plus you don't genuinely have to post on instagram i get many notifications every morning when i wake up which is like 5:30am. in the end I respect people who do TH-cam as it is hard, But for me and others to be able to hold that respect for them they have to respect instajammers too.
I noticed that you make money out of your videos, when I start TH-cam, I want to make videos for fun and not to work and earn money out of the video, couple of years later, I noticed copyright strikes, and changed the livehoods of content creators even me. And then they are making money out of their videos, right now I don’t want to make money out of my vids. I think most of the aj fan base does insta over TH-cam
My honest opinion is that I prefer ajtubers. I have to admit I liked aj insta for a while but then the posts became repetitive and yes aj TH-cam did also get repetitive at some point but now it’s starting to become more original. People who do aj insta defiebtly have creativey just as much as the tubers
Well I have definitely have voted for us ajtubers! Some of us are young kids that want to be like you bigger ajtubers! While we can’t have instagram >:( so I think the best choice for me is the ajtuber
It annoys me that AJHQ picks more instajammers. People that play AJ are KIDS and don't have instagram. So my vote is Ajtubers

Both apps have the same age requirements 😂 12+ which isn’t for children. Teens and up.
