Here's a tip for sound recording that I learned from film experience (I read your description). The sound guy on a movie set records five minutes of room tone before any filming starts. I have found for audios that two minutes is enough. Then if there are any loud noises or anything you have to cut out, you don't have weird gaps in the audio because you can patch the room tone in. Whatever you did to fix it though, it worked, because I didn't hear anything wrong.
Thank you that is some solid advice! I'll definitely put it into practice and hopefully manage to properly fix the mic soon as well. It's good to hear that I managed to still make everything sounds good too ^^
I didn't fall into hypnosis this time, but your voice alone in this was hypnotic enough to the point that I was kinda in a trance and couldn't stop listening :P Good job!
