I did but I don’t get why 025 instead of 205 and a 024 for cleanup

Hey hey, hey, hey, off-topic entirely. Can you make a meme or suggestion to NK to add a new support tower for the Military type, call it Ammo Depot , and have one of its skills, the most juiciest one I'd say, is to add EXPLOSIVE DAMAGE to nearby turrets. Just picture a x|x|5 SNIPER with an attack that has a small area of effect, and now you want it too 😂💥💥💥💥💥💥🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈 Other skills should add properties to attacks, like fire or frozen munitions, stuff like that, but we really need explosive rounds for the Sniper. For balance, make it like the Alchemist's 2|x|x that lasts for a few hits.
I used elite defender for a lot of expert black borders before the shrapnel damage bonus but also when Geraldo’s enhanced sharpening stone still gave damage so I wonder if it will perform about the same now as it did back then.
Actually, the atk spd slowdown from the jar o pickles is 33%, thats why above 3 dmg its worthless, (in 1, dmg is 1,5x to 1,3x, in 2 its ~1,15x down to less than 1,01x, and in 3, its the same as no jar), tested many outcomes, the ratio of pickle to no pickle respectively is 1 Dmg: 100:66 2 Dmg: 164:152 (base tower) or 1610:1608 (full auto rifle) 3 Dmg: 168:168 (3xx wizard) 4 Dmg: 2412:2254 (full auto rifle) All these tests apply for all towers with these dmg values (at least the ratio), i am too bored to mention more, but the savatar is the same case, so is the base dart, Fun Fact: When jar of pickles was first introduced, anything above 5 dmg was worthless, but after a nerf, it got down to anything above 3.
In practice it's both slightly worse and slightly better at the same time. Super Cerams have 60 hp, and both 3 and 4 (and even 5) have their own unique breakpoints, all flush vs 60. However, depending on your other towers, sometimes you just miss a kill, which sometimes a slower 4 gets over a 3, and sometimes the 4 just misses, which would make the faster 3 better. It's a really careful balance, but the plus and minus are far more involved than just "Unga dps higher!"
I did couple of 2mp with this guy on easy maps. It was so fun to do watching 025 sniper shredding bloons especially the ones after the first target because the main damage comes from the sharapnels. If you place it in a place where most of the bloons come towards him, you just put that guy on close targeting to increase the chance of sharapnels hitting other bloons to maximize his dps to his potential. Extra damage givers like glue storm really helps because its a lot of sharapnels especially with that attack speed, Im eager to do much more after this buff
And to think, if you snuck a 2-5-0 or 0-5-2 sniper out, that would have been 30% MORE attack speed for the elite defender. They buffed top path bouncing bullet, the chains go further now.
I like to have my snipers with shrapnel target close. That way the shrapnel can hit everything behind it and there's almost always something behind the closest one.
@user-to7ds6sc3pyeah but the MIB + alcs are just doing what the perma brew does, while sacrificing the permanent effect which goes absolutely nuts with an elite defender
@user-to7ds6sc3p P Brew is stronger than 3 alcs though, at the rate of fire the Elite Defender has it's very easily testable that Perma Brew does actually increase it's damage output compared to multiple lower tier alcs
Is the elite defender the only tower that can be a clean up or dps depending on the crosspath 🤔 I can't really think of any other tower that can change from moab dealer to clean up with only different crosspath
I feel like the positioning of the sniper was questionable. As soon as the bloons got past him, the shrapnel barely hit anything anymore. Was there any specific reason to put him in the middle of the track instead of at the end?
Actually, if anything, having him closer to the start of the track would have been the best place to put him. He attacks faster when bloons are closer to exiting, so letting the bloons get halfway first and catching them on the way back would have been the best way to go. Wouldn’t be bad for the lower tiers either since the shrapnel would have incidentally sprayed to the bloons on the other side of the road.
I already knew 025 was the cleanup crosspath and thought you were just making light that it is actually better most of the time. I had no clue they made it even stronger.
Seems like a really good tower now, like liquefier that are both very solid and enjoyable in the mid game, and help out against lots of Germans in the late game after the moabs
0:13, no it isn't, or at least past R80, EDef sucks against super cerams without top crosspath, and the bonus moab damage scales better with shrapnel crosspath. 025 is fair against small bloons in the midgame, but simply falls off so much even with buffs like pbrew & embrits. generally, you'll get elite sniper, maybe some bouncing bullets & a maim moab. where you wont have much room for glue storm & the map may not have good straight lines for edef to use all of its shrapnel
This is because of the attack speed debuff. If the tower does 3 damage, getting +1 damage is a 33% damage increase minus a 25% attack speed loss. Still net positive. A tower doing 4 damage gets both a 25% damage increase and 25% attack speed loss. This is net neutral, so there’s no need to spend the money on this
Overall dps is (in a highly simplified manner) calculated by damage per shot * attack speed. When you have 2 damage * 1 attack per second, you get 2 damage per second(I know sniper shoots much faster, but the concept remains the same). When you add 1 damage per shot (a 1.5 times increase) then you can calculate the overall dps by doing 1.5 * 0.75(0.75 being the attack speed after the pickles) which gives you 1.125, an overall dps increase of 12.5%. However, if you have a base damage of 3 and you add 1 damage to it, you have a damage per shot increase of 4/3 = 1.333. Now if you do 1.333*0.75, you get 0.99975, basically meaning you got nothing out of the pickles except a waste of money. If you continue this pattern and pickle something with a base damage of 4, you have a 5/4=1.25 increase in damage per shot, which results 1.25*0.75 = 0.9375, which is a net loss. Sorry for the longwinded explanation, I'm not really a good teacher, hope it made sense!
@@greenchess1832 I made the same error when calculating the differences, but you cant just straight up subtract the two values because dps modifiers in btd6 are multiplicative, not additive, since dps is inherently calculated by multiplying two values (damage per shot * attack speed)
Turns out this guy's cleanup just got way better. Have you guys tried it yet btw?

I can't be the only one that was really hoping he got a perma brew
Remember when this was the Dumb Sniper?
I like to have my snipers with shrapnel target close. That way the shrapnel can hit everything behind it and there's almost always something behind the closest one.
10:05 why didn’t you just get permabrew instead of getting mib and the other alcs?
Because its way cheaper. P Brew is 51k. The 3 alcs are like 3k and the mib is needed for cta/homeland anyways.
@user-to7ds6sc3p yeah, plus its Chimps. Economy is very restrictive in that mode

@@RancorSnp duh obviously, tier 2 alcs don't give bonus damage. But funny how everyone ignores the call to arms that does increase dps.

yeah for sure the placement felt... hm ^^'

Completely whiffed the summary of the change. It got buffed for cerams and regular bloons, stays the same vs moab. Went from 1+1 to flat 2

@ lmao whoops, cerams autocorrect :p

Permabrew and bottom path is insane bro
He always hit hard, now he hits harder. I noticed it.
I always use the 0/2/5 sniper anyway so I’m not complaining
Bro used campot for extra camo damage and forgets to target the foam away XD
merry christnas
why did you go for amd stacking if you are buying the MIB
Does that make it better than 205??
Busted used this to beat half cash infernal
You really ahould've moved that overclock foam to off track cus x2x deals +2 damage to camos and campot does +1
am i the only one or is the video just laggy af?
