I think, rather than cold, Tae was reserved and kept back and didn't have time to focus on building their relationship. Through the story it doesn't seem that he ever verbally abused her or called her names or insulted her and the fact that he immediately believed Y/N over his mother says a lot. I would forgive Tae but I would not want Mrs. Kim in my house ever again.

Dude.. don't make him(and his mom also) forgive easily..being cold to a person who you love is not a good thing it will impact on her like insecurities, depression..etc..let him know his mistakes and make him forgive after 5-6 months...about his mother..! It would be nice if they live in a separate house without his mother...it may cure yn truma and pain..in my opinion she doesn't deserve to be a mother...she wants everything good for her son but in that mean time she was destroying another life(yn) by abusing her...i hope yn will be strong and give them taste of their own medicine which she bare till now...

Because of his company affairs, he was unabke to give her time ok i understand. But cant he get even one second? Just a small word like 'how are you?' Ok how are you requires an answer but he can say 'take care' that doesnt require any reply right. It is not his fault that he ignored her but it is also his fault that he has to ignore her because someone lost themselves just because of that small unintentional action. Also the above commentator did not say not to forgive. They said not to forgive soon after he says sorry. Because of yn's trauma it takes time to adjust as she has to fight her insecurities and to believe him completely. Also it helps taehyung to be free of guilt and regret bacause in future he may think that 'yn forgave me so easily even though these many happened. She is such a king soul. I failed to cherish her' like this😅. So if he got some punishmemt😅 then its a balance. 😁😁
