I mean the responsive version is not the same trick it is a UFO into a fingerspin, so I don’t think it should have the same name as it is a bastardized version of the trick like you don’t call a green triangle done from a simple mount a ninja vanish
Well with your example, no matter how you get to it, is it not a green triangle? Same for 'DNA', you do a bind & the end motion ends with the helix formation. I'm sure if you taught someone how to do the unresponsive version on a responsive yoyo, it wouldn't work - clear difference in method but the 'end result' is what we are after here

I know this is a little late (4 months around) but I love to challenge myself, so I started with unresponsive, I finally learned the bing and I am moving quickly. The actual dna will take me a few minutes, maybe hours, but it's the finger spin that'll take days, months or maybe years. Your tutorials are amazing, I learned the bind and will learn much more.

I just recently got my first yoyo which is unresponsive and after a couple weeks I wanted to learn the DNA just to see if I could and I did within about half an hour.

I grew up in the 90s when the Coca-Cola gold spinner was the go to yoyo and back then I was pretty good . iam now 36 I have been getting back in the hobbie and I have picked up the master kit and cant believe how far along yoyos have changed for the good . thanks for the videos bro I now know how to bind 3 different ways I have mastered the braintwister and barrel roll among other tricks I already knew. lastly can u do a video on doing continuous loop the loops and how to stop the string from tensioning while preforming the trick if possible thanks 😊

Primary key to a good DNA is don't whip too much string into the gap or the YoYo spins out of control, gets very wobbly, and might not fully return to your hand. That's what I discovered learning this trick in 2014.

How do you balance it so good on your finger
Got my first legit one as an adult yesterday (crystal k2 $15 om amazon) and tried this trick a dozen times and thought oh well maybe when i get better. Went to my family's house and was explaining how you would do it and did it for the first time. We all just stood there with our jaws dropped lmfao.

Perfect tutorial
I can't get the larger ball bearing replaced. It's stuck. I probably need such a special tool, which of course I don't have, and there are no yoyo shops in Germany that you could just go to quickly.
Does the Arrow DNA come with the string
