If you like to bird hunt, or hunt for small game or finding fawn carcasses makes you angry, you should definitely invest in traps, and learn to properly trap and maybe even take some instructional classes. You'll always have your steel traps unless they're stolen, and you can use them until you're too old to. Good Luck
@CoastalLandWildlifeServices i guess you use the flagging to keep up where you have traps. Good idea. Here in North Carolina they will steal me blind if i flag my traps. Sure wish i could flag mine
Another great video, thanks for sharing. I use MB-550's here in Pa. but I'm going to have get some 450's and give them a try after seeing the success you're having with them.
You mentioned cleaning a trap after catching a opossum,,, how do you clean it? New trapper and I appreciate all the info you have been sharing. Keep it up man...
Good video. I’m a beginner trying to be like a sponge with the tips. What do you do when you tow catch one and he gets away leaving a toe?? I’m figuring he’s pretty well educated after that. Any tips on rebaiting ?? Or is it a loss for that particular yote??
Ehhh, I got a set for Christmas and I keep them in while I’m trapping so if I get a call I can keep my hands free and still set and bait. But it seems to help with picking up the audio while I’m filming. I don’t get those low tone recordings when I have it in and I film everything with my phone.
Your quite a bit younger than i...but the sheer number of sets you put in during a season and now your trapping in yet another state...you'll get one...what a rodeo ride release they are...best wishes and keep those bible verses..really appreciate it
Here from bainbridge Georgia I trap as well I have learned alot from watching your videos
Thanks for the great content + the invetory showcase.
I never fail to learn something from your videos.
Great instructer!
Nice work out there 👍… Goodluck an BeSafe
Man, that was a lot of bobcats. You bust up any coveys of quail while in Georgia? That almost looked like a place managed for quail and turkey.
Heard a few whistles but that was it
Always great content. Definitely wanting to start trapping.

I mostly use them because I can pack more in a box than I can the 550’s. I like them both, the 450’s are just a little more affordable
I’m buying MB450’s after watching your success. Thanks!
Close to my home town Camilla
Learned allot from your videos. Much appreciated!

I throw the possum traps in a pile and will boil, dye, and wax them again.
Ok gotcha. Great video bud
Good stuff ! What county you from brother? Iam from Newberry and we are eat up with clay. I envy that sand land in the low country!
Jasper, not too far south from you, but far enough to stay outta that red gumbo. Haha
Another good one.
Respect from England
Good video nice work
I really like that forged spoon

No, it’s not a total loss. It may take him several days or weeks to warm back up to that particular set but it’s not impossible.
@@CoastalCarolinaOutdoors toe belongs to a red fox. Does the same go for reds? And would you change up your baits or go the same that got them there?
And I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Thanks.
Awesome content as usual!
Pretty awesome!
What’s the air pod for? Just curious
