Thank you Laura I have been saving small bottles wondering what I could do with them. Do find the clay stays to the glass without using poly paste
Hey Miss Larraine!! You are most welcome and I glad I gave you a good idea on how to use them!! I hope you will create some really fun bottles and enjoy their beauty!! As to the poly paste, I could not say since I do not use it. However, I would say, anytime you combine polymer clay that has been baked with or onto another element other that polymer clay, it is likely to come off at some point. This is when I would say you have to turn to your epoxy glues to adhere the clay piece to any glass bottle or porcelain piece. Hence my constant use of superglue...LOLOL! I do hope this will helps...and hope you have a great day...sending you my hugs! :)
Oh wow these are just gorgeous !! This gives me lovely ideas for some bottles i have only i have a worry and that is that my bottles or rather jars are the HUGE moccona coffee jars the big 1kg ones and i am not sure how they would go in the oven if i did a design in polymer clay on them.
Thank you so much, Miss Selene!! Bless your heart, lady!! ...and I totally understand if the jars you are using a huge. My suggestion for a large piece in the oven would be to, use your second to last rack in the oven (or last one if you think there is enough separation between your piece and the heat elements) Place 2 tiles on this rack and then place you piece on a third tile and bake it. Hopefully this will give you enough room to get it in the oven...or place the jar on it's side and bake one side once that is done, take your jar out, remove the clay piece after it has cooled and then create your other piece on the jar and do that again. Once you have the pieces baked, and the jar will not go back in the oven...glue them onto your jar. I hope my suggestions might help you here, lady...Sending you my big biiiiigggggggg hugs!! :)
@@laurajschiller Bless your heart too
Absolutely beautiful work you are so talented. Just want to ask you , do you bake the flowers and the bottle and vase covering?
Thank you for your kind compliment!! Wow...Bless you!! And Yes. This is not cold porcelain or even air dry clay. I use the polymer clay, so, I have to bake these pieces. And many times, I bake these pieces separately and then bring them all together. Sending hugs your way! :)
Great video! Do you bake in between steps to not crush your beautiful pieces?
Thank you so much, Miss Laurie!! Bless you, lady!! Thrilled you enjoyed this video so much!! As to the baking, yes. I do bake in between steps to not crush the beautiful pieces. If you are creating on a vase like this, I say, create until you can no longer handle it without your fingers going back over the work you have already created. If you are doing that, you really need to bake the piece for 7-10 minutes and then after it cools, to go back in and add in more clay work to eventually complete your vase design. I hope this helps and as always...sending you my big hugs!! :)
@@laurajschiller Thanks so much! Great idea just baking a short time so you can get back to it lol. I'll ck out more of your videos.
