It's like Jericho said on commentary, he was like Owen Hart or Eddie Guerrero: one of the exceptionally few people that no one has a single bad thing to say about him.
These words will be priceless to Brodie’s boys when they get older. They sure broke me down pretty quickly. Well done to everyone involved with tonight’s show.
Hardest night of wrestling but also the most beautiful with how great a show AEW put on since the Eddie Guerrero tribute night for me. Couldn't get through that without tears and neither could I tonight. Well done AEW that was perfect.
Eddie's eyes carry so much. I'm so sorry he had to lose Larry Sweeney and now Brodie Lee from his life. Dude just seems like the most ride or die friend you could have
AEW was my first introduction to Eddie Kingston. And from the very first day I actually went on twitter (which I rarely use) and tweeted AEW to sign this guy because he BRINGS IT. The man is passionate about the craft and despite being such an asshole character on screen you can tell that he's loyal af to his friends. Eddie seems like a straight shooter which is why it's always hard to tell when he's being serious or just working the audience but this is a friend acknowledging and appreciating his friend. Glad AEW hired so many great people. They all connect so well to the fans, including heels like Eddie.
@@johnnymorningstar2855 It's really cool to see so many people embracing Eddie Kingston. I was lucky to get on the Eddie train early because of Chikara, but he is the best and to see so many people seeing it now is fantastic.
@@glenndallas7171 His feud with Claudio Castagnoli was fantastic, and that BRAINBUSTAAAA he took from El Generico on the apron was brutal, to say the least.
@@glenndallas7171 I first saw him back when he and Homicide were doing the new NWA. I liked him over there, then Covid hit and the NWA got hit hard by the lockdown.
I lost my father 10/31/2019 This was the most real someone could be I feel this deep inside Eddie is real -1 listen to this man, you were your dads world We all live on in our fathers
This guy, I swear. I have never heard of Kingston before AEW. Every time he speaks, I'm freaking listening. This dude should always be talking. What an amazing tribute this was.
What Eddie Kingston said was absolutely true I had to grow up with my mum by herself because my dad abandoned me when I was little so I can relate to what he is saying. Brodie Jr truly had a great & kind loving father who loves his kids & wife to the core he'll always live on inside the heart of Brodie Jr.
Eddie Kingston is a guy that will remember the best bouts he had against Brodie tearing it up together in the ring and revving up the fans. Those are the type of memories you want to hold dear to you forever, much respect to Eddie of his memories of Jon.
“You only die twice, once when your spirit is left from your body. The second time is when people forget about you”. Gonr but never forgotten. YEAH YEAH YEAHHH
It is cut. Eddie is a consummate professional. They cut it because he broke. They were close. I didnt realize they were friends until he gave the speech after the show that is on being the elite.
Our AV director passed away this Saturday. When our entire department found out, we had these exact sentiments. I may even cite this if I go to the service, because despite his carefree and disgruntled exterior, he seemed like the kindest man and gentlest giant beneath. RIP Gary. We'll miss you
Heel or not this man will forever be awesome. Met him once and dude is sweet and you can tell in this video that he has a heart of gold. Eddie kingston cry man it's ok to cry.
Man, Eddie talking to Jon's kids was one of the most emotional moments of that whole show for me, that, Rowan's appearance and Brodie Jr being awarded the TNT title belt for life. I mean, that whole show was special, but still. Miss you Brodie
I love you Eddie.Thank you thank you thank you for the heartfelt words straight from the heart.Keep it real my man. Thank you thank you thank you Jon for absolutely everything. You're in a good place,Sir.
Eddie is so real. I can understand why they may have cut the ending. Some things are just too personal. Grieving doesn't have to be done in public. Jon Huber left an indelible mark on many hearts. Legacy.
Eddie plays his heel character so well on screen to the point I believed he is a legitimate asshole in real life. After watching this, I have a new level of respect for the guy. Amazing words and inspirational while talking about his kids. Rest Easy Brodie. Your kids will make you proud! 🙏🏻
Eddie Kingston is like most real person I've ever seen in wrestling he's all heart you hear that man talk about how great someone is you know how great they really were. O didn't know brodie was so loved. But life can just be taken like that it'd a scary world
Eddie your words , your emotion your honestly , that Brodie was just that a husband , a father who had nothing but endless love for his family and children ,
I lost my Mom this past October. We watched wrestling together since I was a little kid. I watched all of these tributes, knowing they would kick my ass, out of respect for Jon Huber. I think Mom watched too. RIP Jon.
If you have never seen it I recommend you go out and find the shoot interview Brodie did with Eddie Kingston. It’s just them having a good time for like an hour and a half. You could tell how close they were.
The fact that there’s not one bad thing said about Brodie online or anywhere shows how much of an amazing person he is.
It's like Jericho said on commentary, he was like Owen Hart or Eddie Guerrero: one of the exceptionally few people that no one has a single bad thing to say about him.
He can't do a country accent 🤣
Yup
He was an amazing and kind person. I met him at the gym 6 years ago before he was famous
@@ultracat8161 He would have been the first person to agree with you on that.
Real as always Eddie. Miss you Brodie.
me too
These words will be priceless to Brodie’s boys when they get older. They sure broke me down pretty quickly. Well done to everyone involved with tonight’s show.
I broke down at first bell, in 10 bells salute. Seeing Miro weep just added fuel to the fire, and it just kept going on and on.

Cesaro a couple years later after he took his career outside Europe Indy scene but yes.
I cried 5 times during the show, but Eddie's tribute got me more than anything. Thank you, Eddie. And thank YOU, Brodie. We all miss you.

As much as Brodie passing made me cry.. Eddie talking about Brody passing made me cry even more.. no one is better at being real than Eddie
Eddie Kingston was crying throughout the tribute. It is okay to cry. Mr. Brodie Lee loved his children and took care of them.
Don't cry because he's gone, smile because he was here.
This isn't easy

RIP Jon Huber, Brodie Lee, Luke Harper
God damn Eddie you guys have me in tears over this more than I've ever cried in my entire adult life. Well spoken sir.
For those that didn’t know Eddie Kingston, Claudio (Cesaro) and Brodie were all roommates for a good period of time during the independence
Video feels cut. I think Eddie must have broke down at the end.
Absolutely beautiful
