Even to date, how many were Blessed with a show when experiencing a lull? This Soul was Huge! He 'felt' the Nature with Earth and Heaven. He was an unique Soul, knowing way more than most of us experience in a 'whole' lifetime. He wore makeup (not like Mime) first, He wore satin, velvet and 'boa' around his neck before Sir Elton John, David Bowie, he was The Trend Setter! He knew his time was 'short' and The Heavens did too. He gave us this Series of Shows so we can live with an Eternity of Love from Marc's Heart!

It was such a pity that the sound on the Marc shows was so weak. It was the usual for TV shows of the time. Having heard the band play live a few months before this was recorded New York City was mind blowing as was the whole concert.

Marc was my pop idol as a teenager, and has remained part of my life ever since, but his show 'Marc' and his released songs of this period were dier! No comparison to the height of his career, nor that of Tyrannosaurus Rex. Marc became a man obsessed with his own image. So sad.

A real treat when you see the , Marc and David video to the studio recording, it was such an iconic clip, due to strikes in the studio, the fools played with gold and diamond stars, that clip was just used in the Netflix Bowie documentary. The second series was being arrange with Muriel Young again, but just 13 days later , mini Gloria drove , had loose wheel nuts, it clumped a concrete stump and ricocheted into Sycamore tree.
David and Marc, were both starting out and met painting there would be managers office, Bowie can be traced doing a Marc voice, very cool speaking voice , as Marc was from a part of London, that never spoke posh , but he did , well my be not a home visiting his mum and dad and brother .

Obsession...I was 12 in 1977 so that makes me old! I can not believe that 'Band A Gong' has been a huge influence (60's Groovy Dancing) like an Austin Powers reality! At 54 I'm 5'5" and slim, Marc too was a small Man with a Big Aura! Billy Idol, Sir Elton John, Ian Mitchell... it goes on and on! They all were on His Show! He is every part of the Movement in Rock and Roll... He influenced every factor with His short stint here on Earth. He was, is The Real Deal. Look at Him! He wanted to be Healthy and he lost weight, became a responsible Father to Rolan and he was Genuine. So sad that 6 days from his final show he left Our Earth. He and David are singing with the Concords of Angels! I am sure that Freddy Mercury too is crooning with them! May Their Legacy influence The Heart Of The World! "Sing me a song that the World can sing along and I'll show you a song that stands for Living; Sing me a song that The World can sing along and I'll show you a song from The Heart!"

Thank you for uploading. This includes the punky version of 'Debora' they played on the Dandy Tour which was surprisingly effective. Compering a show like this isn't really Bolan's thing, though - he was always quite a guarded person and you need to be more open to carry this off. A great memento for his fans, though...

So true! And they wonder why they can't get any attention from women! LOL! The beards should go, too. I remember when this nightmare began with the 5 o'clock shadow (started by that guy from Wham and Kip Winger) which then turned in two a 2-week-long shadow and then the neckbeard was born. But "pie stuck to their heads" is the right image for this peeled-onion Gumby style the "handsome" men sport these days. LOL! I'm going to use that in the future. :-)

American here, from the Midwest. I turned 8 in the summer of 1977. As for the other musicians and dancers on this show, this is ~on par with what was on the US at the time (fancier costumes in the US, of course, because Hollywood). But as for the hosts, we had the Jackson family, Sonny and Cher, or The Captain and Tennille. Middle-aged Hollywood "joke" writers abounded, though, and our shows were corny af. I like how this is rawer, looser, and more to the point. Less jabber, more tunes!
I would've preferred to see someone more like Marc as a kid. American shows that starred pop musicians were... hokier than this by orders of magnitude, Cher excepted. She had charisma to spare. Bowie was on her show, too, in 1976 (and both of them apparently coked to the gills). It's a real shame about Marc. I know of him and T-Rex because of The Violent Femmes, a band from my hometown who covered Children of The Revolution in the 80s. So kind of Bowie to help Rolan as he grew up.
