I've never loved a GOT ship like this one. I mean i liked Jon & Dany but Daemon and Rhaenyra is something else. They got me so bad and we didn't even see the romance scenes yet, but the chemistry between them is incredible 🔥🔥🔥

Viserys should've just let them wed, and figure out another way to appease Corlys. I understand why he didn't. He loved his brother but probably wondered if Rhae would've been safe next to Daemon. He didn't realize how much Daemon loved her and would protect her. Daemon’s prior antics made Viserys believe he would betray him or Rhaenyra for the throne.

@@humeniuk_ali but the book are just speculation. we can only see the real deal from the show now. the micro expression from the actors is the clue. in GoT we gotta analyze the dialogue while in HoTD, we gotta analyze the dialogue and micro expression from the actors to get the real answer.
1. before Rhaenyra's coronation, he gave her a necklace. I mean he has a wife, he has a mistress. why giving it to her? I mean it's Valyrian steel, it's obviously handmade.
2. he never addressed her as 'niece' he always address her by 'Princess'. Rhaenyra always goes by 'Uncle' never 'My Prince' but Daemon goes by 'brother' to the King. he only called him 'Your Grace' when Viserys was furious.
3. he tossed the egg back to her when he knew he can strengthen her position as a Queen to prevent the bloodshed.
4. notice how he looks at her from the 1st eps to the last.
5. the br0thel scene was hard for him. you can see his frustration. he backed down then he went for a drink til pass out, for what?
6. when he ask Viserys for Rhaenyra, he started with "when I offered up my crown, you said I could have anything.." = "I haven't ask you anything for these past years, now I want this thing cuz it's all I wanted and you can't deny it because you promised me". he's a gambler.

You know, in episode 3, when Rhaenyra came back to the camp all bloody because of the boar attack, I knew Daemon would be so damn proud of her. That Lannister dude looked like he saw something dirty, but Daemon would totally congrat her. Maybe it's because they are both dragons. I wonder what the relationship between Laenor and Rhaenyra will be like.

Love this! Always felt super weird that the books made me fall in love with this couple considering they are so closely related, but I’m glad to see I’m not the only one. Next season is going to kill me if they go by the books. I’ve read the leaks for this season, which have been on point so far, and I’m happy with the way they’ve written it (if true). Really hoping they do these characters justice. By the end of the season, everyone will be rooting for them even if they don’t now.

Even when she got fat, "old" and crazy, Daemon still loved her to the end, and his last letter was a love letter to her saying how depressed he was because of their family falling apart and how he felt like he lived for far too long.
And even when her mind got poisoned by conspiracies about her husband, she still loved Daemon.
He died avenging her son.

Came back to this after finishing Fire & Blood today. The entire Dance traumatised me. Especially the chapter ‘Rhaenyra Overthrown’. Around 20 dragons at the peak of Targaryen Dynasty and only 4 survived (2 of them being wild dragons). And in Aegon III’s rule, all dragons die. That’s what saddened me the most :((

Daemon and Rhaenyra share a special love bond that is deep and uniquely tied to each other exactly the same way they are connected to their dragons. Daemon is conflicted because he wants power but he also loves his family and doesn’t want to see either his brother or niece get hurt . His lust for power means he will have to eventually hurt them in order to achieve his ambitions, therefore inner Turmoil is the result. When he took rhaenyra to the brothel he planned on seducing her not to actually fuk her but to circulate rumours to tarnish her reputation in order to force a marriage to restore her honour. It was a power play however he wasn’t prepared to be overwhelmed by his lust which nearly made him take her completely! He genuinely loves rhaenyra and sees her as his equal and if he really were to bed her... he wouldn’t do it in a slum but In a palace befitting her nobility as a queen. Rhaenyra is pissed off bkuz she’s always loved daemon but then he shafted her by taking advantage of her naivety and trust in him. Ironically in the end, both daemon and rhaenyra ended up fukn people they didn’t want bkuz they weren’t able to do it with each other!🤦♀️ LoL they are true Targaryens and therefore In the tradition of their house they belong with each other🔥🔥🔥🔥

Are you really watching the series, or have you read the book? Daemon isn't the only one who wants power. Otto and his daughter too, as they want Aegon to be the heir. Daemon is a gray character, he is misunderstood, he just wants equality, so to speak.

@@dorinnaz1827 Daemon and Caraxes fight vs. Allicents Second son Aemond Targaryen and Vhagar over a really big lake (Battle Above the Gods Eye). Caraxes and Vhagar + Aemond die. Daemons body was never found ... so according to the history book "Fire and Blood" ... we really dont know if he is dead. most likely ... but maybe he survives the fight in this series.
Description of the Battle:
The duel was said to be a sight to see. The sun was setting as the two dragons took to the sky. The dragons' shrieks and roars could be heard from a dozen miles away. So bright was the dragonfire that smallfolk feared the sky was aflame. Caraxes slammed into Vhagar, locking his jaws on Vhagar's neck. Both dragons were grappling as they descended from the sky. Caraxes's jaw continued to tighten around Vhagar's neck even as Vhagar's teeth tore Caraxes's wing and his claws opened Caraxes's belly. Prince Daemon is said to have leapt from his saddle on Caraxes on to Vhagar. Daemon drove his blade, Dark Sister, through his nephew's empty eye socket just as both dragons collided with the Gods Eye lake below, sending up a gout of water so high it was as tall as the Kingspyre Tower at Harrenhal. Neither man could have survived.
