After 5 freaking years we finally get to see what happens if you get hit by the meteor, others "managed" to do it but they got hit by the rocket or missed the meteor by 5 inches
it's pretty cool how when you're getting sucked into the black hole the screen gets oriented to show the map in the exaxt same way it's shown when you pull up the map in game.
Just realized how much I miss the ch1 map 💀 that 1 month of fortnite OG was honestly the most fun i’ve had in a while. Playing with old friends and just having a good time instead of sweating my ass off in ranked/arena.
One of my friends managed to land on top of the rocket right as it started to take off (by standing on top of it, right at the center, it launches you straight up & you can glide down onto the rocket)
I like how the music when the arctic nights appear is telling you in a dramatically musical way that "Hey,it's the end of the world! Enjoy your last moments!"
I really didn't like the fact the floating island wasn't there, I thought it would've been really cool to see the loot lake house + cube try to protect the zero point from the meteor
@@kitsune5352 I would have loved to see the cube attempt to take the Zero Point itself and then the rocket gets fired to stop it or something, There was so much missed opportunity with the event.
@@Repohtig This is completely unnecessary, Kevin is the fan name of The Cube/Corruption Cube, Epic acknowledged it but I'm pretty sure that they never used it officially in the story aside from at Steamy Stacks with Kevolution Energy.
i unfortunately was not able to go to the live event due to a stupid trip i had to go on, it was sad knowing i got no free loot, and i didn't get the lobby theme "THE END" If ppl even got it, also sad i couldn't witness or listen to this with my own eyes, so i have to with a video. But at least i knew what it was like.
I did the same but at first I was on top of the meteor to witness all rockets up close, then I fell down cause the meteor lost it's barrier for me to walk on it. I fell in dusty and rifted up, I glided immediately to the rocket, I got hit by the rocket and stayed up there with the meteor as well. So I got hit by a rocket and a giant taco (meteor)
if you went into the divot, immediately deployed your glider and headed straight for the zero point, you could land on an invisible floor (i did this for the second time i saw the bing bang event)
@@splashmanej3 This said invisible floor is actually the floating island's collision, which is somehow still present even though the island itself isn't there.
LOL I got hit by the rocket multiple times then when I landed the meteor fell on me Then the game glitched in the Eminem thing so I fell out of the map and all I could see was his giant feet

In my opinion, the best angle to see the rocket event in both Sx and Season OG is the mountain near Cratera
Yeah I was on that the first time I watched the Big Bang event the next I was under the zeropoint
I got to see it from the sky due to being knocked back by the rocket. It was really cool.
