Thanks for sharing. How did you print image on the vinyl? Would a standard printer work?

You’ll need a vinyl plotter of some type. A silhouette or cricket machine would do the job, or a sign shop could cut an image for you.

How can I make my own vinyl design？

Is sticker printed on black vinyl or non color one? Just to be sure that light goes only through white color

This is a machine cut decal, meaning it was cut from a roll of black vinyl. The light shines through on the parts that we’re “weeded” out of the black roll. There is no white vinyl, only negative space in the black. The white portion of the logo is from the white EL panel.

Rather than printing a masking logo, can you paint a logo using acrylic paint?

I don’t see why not. Anything to block out the unwanted glow should work just fine.

Thank you! It’s Oracal 651 matte black vinyl.

@@andreweve8914 The white portion is the actual EL panel. It’s white when it’s not illuminated. I cut the negative out of matte black vinyl and laid it on top.

Should be but it doesn’t matter. This bike will never see rain.
