I am as well. I have autism, adhd, nonverbal learning disorder, and fear of heights but I’m trying to hype myself up to go on expedition Everest when I see animal kingdom this February
@@brianumphreyville2204 Fellow AuDHD’er here as well, and I resonate with being scared of Everest! While I’m VERY sensory seeking, I knew there were parts of it (specifically the height/dark) that really deterred me. I’m glad to say though that after doing it, it is absolutely one of my FAVORITES! If you feel up to giving yourself an idea, look for ride through videos! That’s what I did so I also knew where I would have the most concerns and could know when they were happening. 🧡 Sending you so much love and braveness, from me and my park buddy Piglet! ✨✨
I am a total planner too! I only get to WDW once a year, so I need to make the most of it! You should see my color-coded spreadsheet with my agenda for each day!! 🤩 I love it!!
This was a fun challenge. I'd argue, however, that you don't do everything if you skip the trails and animal encounters. They are such a big part of the park. I do agree Flight of Passage is the best ride, followed closely by safari.
Love this! I like taking my time strolling through each land which makes DAK a full day for me 😆 But knowing Its possible to do my must see list in half opens up some new possibilities!
@@80sCanadian Yeah picked Animal for that day as there are not a ton of rides so not the worst day to be in when packed. Hoping to rope drop navia then use lightning lane for a 2 fer. Avatar at very end. Shows 10-1 then character meal. Should lighten up by 2. Cross fingers. Hopefully MK and HS will be lighter on the days after. A little nervous about Epcot on NYE.
I would love it if you could do versions of these videos without buying Genie+ too because I do not plan of buying it when I visit and I would like to see the best way to navigate my day without it. Plus the science of comparing agains the Genie+ days is fun too 😊 Thank you!
Good challenge but I'd argue that it still doesn't prove it's a half day park. You ran around like a chicken with it's head cut off, only ate in lines instead of sitting down and relaxing, didn't do any of the trails or any of the side trails or do any shopping. To be honest, we don't spend all day there but we don't spend all day in any park. We are firmly in the park hopping, going back to the resort and resting, taking it slow and enjoying the place camp. With more than 4 days, you can easily ride all the rides you want to in every park and still go slow and go back to the resort if you hop. Oh, we are also not planners.
I appreciate this video so much... because I'm guilty of thinking AK was a 'half day' park. Plus with so many changes coming to AK, it'll probably become a 1.5 day park! By the way.... Emma's bag'o'snacks is a serious vibe! Happy Turkey day, everyone!
All Ears 2022: We try to do everything in one day! All Ears 2023: We try to do everything twice in one day! All Ears 2077: How to use your time travel device to do the parks ∞ times! Loved the video!
I know my kids will want to ride their top 3-4 rides/shows more than once so seeing this is good. You should do more of this for the other parks with more of a tier focus. If that was our day we would have totally have done a rope drop twofer (standby then lightning) for Navia.
I think when people call Animal Kingdom is a 1/2 day park they are only talking of Everest and the Safari. No trails and only Festival of The Lion King if they think of any shows. Animal Kingdom can easily keep you entertained until 5 or 6.
Good job, Emma! I wouldn't do Kali even once, so props to you for subjecting yourself to that monstrosity. Wishing everyone in the US a Happy Thanksgiving!
Next time they do something like this I think they should include the time it takes to walk all the trails and see the animals and not just the shows and rides.
Watching this and totally bummed when I heard you say you were there Nov 1. My kids and I looked all over on our trip hoping to run into one of you since you are all famous at our house LOL! We were in Animal Kingdom the next day so just missed you.
On our last trip to AK we did everything we wanted to do in 1 1/2 days without purchasing Genie + or an ILL. The first day we were there from rope drop to 5:45pm and the second day we left by 1:30pm. We rode every single ride (except Kali by choice), watched all 3 theatre shows, went to Rafiki’s Planet Watch, caught the winged encounters and It’s Tough to Be a Bug shows, did a couple of character meet and greets, played at the Boneyard, ate some choice snacks, did a little shopping, walked through the 2 major animal trails, and had 2 different counter service meals. We all had the best time.
Not gonna lie, if I can draw different characters, I’m absolutely going to do Animation Experience on repeat. I assumed it was the same character for all shows on the same day.
Would be interested to see this challenge again where you just try to do everything twice, not complete the park then complete it again. I feel like it could be done with back to back rides on many things because it would eliminate the travel time between rides.
I love that Emma is honest about her fears and dislikes regarding rides, but tackles them all with a positive attitude. ❤️🥰🌹

i was literally there that same day and i was looking around for any of you guys i’m so upset i didn’t see youuu 😭
Hi everyone! I hope allears are enjoying their holiday break. Great vid!

I have no artistic abilities, but The Animation Experience is amazing!!

Vegetables the story of Horizons - I am absolutely in love with your editors - they make these videos go from a A to A+
Emma should get bonus points for doing Kali twice on a cool fall day!
Going to go start of Jan and my kids will want to ride Cali 5-10 times...
@@80sCanadian We will be there Jan 1 so I think we will just make it.

Take a look at Breedlove's video on doing the park without his phone - he didn't get Genie+ or individual LL for anything!

I maintain Emma missed and rode the Rafiki Train only once. The challenge was to take the train TO Planet watch. She took it once to and once from.

What day did you do this experiment? Just curious about crowd levels on the specific day and/or day of the week.

Getting hyped up as it’s only 97 days till my next Disney trip.
So…what is a good week to go when crowds are smallest?

Did you go on a weekday or weekend
We went on a Wednesday & Thursday and then park hopped to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios during our trip as well.

Did anyone else hear the Rugrats theme song during rope drop??? 😆😂
You can also bring food into the Nemo show
Guys Emma seems to really love Kali River Rapids do you agree
I am sorry to say this I couldn't do the whole park in one day with my sisters and their kids and my brother-in-law too.
I really hope they bring Indiana jones to animal kingdom, always been jealous of Disneyland for that ride.
