  • hi everyone android doctor back again with another video,ok so ive just had my s22 ultra for 2 weeks now and i have been facing wifi issues my s22 ultra keeps disconnecting from my home wifi i reset my router but the problem still exists i reset my phones network settings i even went as far as to factory reset the phone but nothing fixed the issue untill i changed the wifi settings from DHCP to STATIC

    Thank you. I was really frustrated with this phone and the service provider had not offered a solution. This worked, I have not had to reset my network at all today.

    I have a 6 month old A12, not a sophisticated item but it suits me. It has been working fine but just recently I have been having the issue you describe and it drives me nuts! Thanks for this fix, let's hope it continues to work.

      Unfortunately this was not a permanent fix. After a short while problem reappeared. From memory it only seems to have happened since the last android update a couple of weeks ago.

    Hi buddy. Thanks for your video on how to fix the connection problems. I having S22 Ultra for about 3 months now it just recently started with the connection problems and it's been driving me crazy. I didn't know what to do I've been looking all over the internet for a fix and everybody keeps saying reset the router there's nothing wrong with my router I've done that.

    I have the S21 Ultra and this happens all the time. I will try this fix, you also have to setup an IP reservation on your router if you change to static and change randomized MAC to phone MAC on that same screen after changing from DHCP to static.

    Great vid.
    I had a similar issue with my 5g wifi (poor signal and disconnects) and i finally found the fix by logging into the router, going to the 5ghz page, turning OFF "Auto channel" and manually selecting a random channel, 5g wifi has been strong since.

    I have another problem as well which started about a few weeks ago. On 2.4G wifi "failed to connect". 5G connects fine, but the range is not far enough.
    I also had "Connected without internet" on 5G though it worked fine on 2.4G for me.

    Im experiencing this issue right now and tried this method but still doesnt work. New samsung phones are picky to what router they will connect. Im trying to connect my phone on my old dsl router as a network switch and wifi as well but this method still does not work
    My Galaxy A73 5G connects to the internet perfectly to my Fiber router but not on the old dsl router "Connected without internet"

    January 2023 no patch has been released had mine less than 24 hours and this is the most solid fix. Hopefully s23 does not have this issue

      ​​@@yasirmofficialI can't remember exactly now, but I think I called my internet service provider and they worked with me to find a fix for it. It's been fine ever since and I've been enjoying it. I think this is one phone that I may use for more than 2 years because it's perfect for my needs in every way. (In the past, I changed my phone every 2 years to get the latest, but I think I've found a phone I don't want to change. 😄)
      So, my advice to you is not to return it if that's the only issue you have with it. Instead, call your internet service provider and explain the issue to them.
      Also, make sure you install the latest Samsung update because they may have fixed that with an update. Like I said, I can't remember exactly how mine was fixed, but I remember calling my internet service provider.

      @@yasirmofficial I can't quite remember how the issue got resolved, but I think I might have contacted my internet service provider. Either that, or it just got fixed on its own. Maybe an update from Samsung fixed it? Try updating your software to the latest Samsung version, then call your internet service provider if the problem persists.

    Make sure to reserve (or make static) your phone's IP address on your router. That way, the IP address will always be available for uour phone. If you don't, and say while your phone is not connected to your router, the router just happens to assign your phones static IP address to another device, then your phone will not connect since the address is already in use. You can Google how to assign or reserve an address for your particular router. I hope this helps.

    Hello, I factory data reset my s23 ultra but cannot comnect to mibile data or wifi, so I canmot continue the reset and cannot open the phone. We tried hard reset buttons but negative, no recovery mode , its just going back to lock mode then start again. What will I do?

    Any tips if this did not work? I have the same exact problem. I tried switching the MAC address type as well as the IP settings, but neither change worked. My internet is fine on all other devices.

    Correctly changing the DNS fields fixed my S21 Ultra with the same issue, the gateway address was in the DNS field

      Thank you for this tip, the video didn't help but your comment did. Why are they all of the sudden misplaced? I have to keep it at static now because on automatic it switches them back incorrectly.

    Worked for about 15 minutes then stopped. You gotta delete all your saved networks, reset your phone, then reconnect and it works fine.

    I have s22 ultra, almost similar issue, where if I go out of my wifi coverage area, the connection is lost. And when I come back to the coverage area, the wifi connects back but everytime it will be giving slow speeds of 10-30 Mbps where as my other phones and devices will be showing 200-500 Mbps.

    I separated my wifi networks (2.4hz,5g) some fault also belongs to the router..there's a setting on automatically that mixes 5g and 2.4 with this on my speeds were cut in half ..but anyway I connected to the 5g version only and haven't had issues SO FAR.. I think the problem is the switch from 5g to 2.4hz..especially if your router combines them. I noticed the drops only happened when it switched to 2.4.. maybe the radio just doesn't play well with 2.4. it's a shame that this video has to exist.. and that we have to do so many work arounds for something simple..reconsidering my next phone choice.

    Hi, i have one more problem on my S22 ultra. many of the contacts gets deleted automatically. how to fix this issue. as a caution i have turned off the auto synchronization, but it doesn't work.

    Did not fix my issue. Wifi disconnects ever few seconds. Everything else on my network works just fine.

    Network on the phone keeps going off, suspecting it has something to do with 5G setting, dunno, just that it's very annoying cos every other phone is working well on same network.
    Came across this video, and my WiFi setting on the phone was already on static... Changed it to the other one, and it's behaving properly now🤷

      It's a well known issue with the s22 however changing to static fixed it for me I haven't had a problem since ,Iust hope samsung will fix this with an update soon

    My Note 20 runs at 499.2 MBPS download speed and my S22 shows 82.1 MBPS in the exact same spot of my home - ridiculous.

    I have a similar problem on a mesh wi-fi network. My phone connects to the first node It finds, but as I move away, instead of switching to other node, I get the same 'connected with no internet' message. Then I move closer to the first node and the phone reconnects. Gonna try to fix the IP adress and see If It gets the job done. Thx for the advice.

    I tried this. Unfortunately did not work. All my other devices are good. This phone keeps dropping wifi ir signal is really low. I pay per gig of data so not cool samsung.

      When u lose signal does it automatically find the network then reconnect? Or do u have to turn off the phone then turn it on again to connect

      It finds network but terribly slow when it does. Like 6-30 mbps. I possibly found a solution. I turned of my gps and had a strong stable wifi 6 connection since its been off. I turned back on 20 minutes ago and wifi started going out again. Could be something to do with gps. Im gonna leave it off for now and test tomorrow. If wifi good tomorrow its the gps.

      I have had gps on since i bought this phone and have had wifi problems since i bought it, so gps very well could be my/others issue

    Mines a brand new phone.
    Tried everything, same issue
    All my other phones work perfectly...

    so i've been watching 4-5 videos about this wifi problem, other guy told it was the mac adress needs to be changed to Phone Mac so i did it and it keep saying connected without internet, and i followed this method to change the IP setting to static but it also keep saying connected without internet once every 5-10 minutes, pleasee im so stressed

    Using my s8+ tablet as a Hotspot for my s22 ultra and I'm having this issue but this didn't fix it unfortunately. Tablet has over 100mbps download speed while 5G 5bars on the phone is only getting about 7mbps.

    Turn off RANDOMIZED Mac Address at you wireless setting under the ssid and all will work

    Mine is just a Samsung S22 and having the same troubles. This fix did not work. Sky wants me to send it back for a repair that will take "weeks"! Any ideas? Help please, I need my phone for urgent medical conditions.

      Its the only thing that worked for me and others its a problem with router that have network band 6 ,its come to light that the new s23 series are facing the same problem too

    Hi, thanks for clear instructions, but no difference.. All other devices working correctly. I used to have this occasionally with my Note 9 and the Oneplus 5. Always at the wrong moment. Annoying.

    WiFi (with internet)is connected but it's saying that theres no internet, I factory reset my phone so I need a solution otherwise my phone will never open😭😭😭😭😭😭

    I just got this phone a few months ago and had been nothing but problems, paid over $1000 for the phone abs can't even send or receive text without having to restart my phone
