Glad you still enjoy(?) it enough to play it every year. Last time i went at the game was when i bought it from the ps3 online classics and just did a single play though and finishing it in a single Digimon lifecycle and low amounts of training. Works surprisingly well with all the stat increasing disks you can find on your travels.
Poison Claw is indeed pretty cool. If you choose Kunemon as your starter; it makes it even cooler - Poison Claw is Kunemon's signature tech in Maeson (So it does a bit extra for him)
The files for the mod you will download also comes with a very extensive note file that covers all of that. The people who made the mod did super well with it.
* quality of life changes * Less dirt to shovel Are you nuts HOW IS THAT A GOOD THING? That is the best stat increase for your first run! You get 3 trainings in 1 ingame hour! Do you even play the game????
This is the default option for the Meason Mod. However, the creators of the Mod package the files with a guide on how to tweak the modifications - including the number of dirt trips needed. It is customizable to meet your specifications.
Ngl I always loved shoveling dirt and wished that things like it and Monochromons store weren't 1 time things because shoveling dirty was not only good stats (with the price being that you has to actually walk the dirt out vs quick skip training at the gym) but also because it was something different... more manual and less videogamy. You're working in the mines hauling dirt out and something about that felt more immersive to me. Felt more like being isekaid into digimon world. Also the p.i.t.a. that was Monochromons shop... like.... I want to keep doing that after recruitment. Tweak rewards or let you run the shop in town where the customers are all digimon you've recruited. Would love a digimon world rom hack that let's these be repeatable. Also it's nice you can send Drimogemon out to hunt treasure but... what if *I* want to be let into the back of his secret treasure tunnel and be given X amount of time to collect things in the maze of tunnels he's drilled into the mountain?
@@KichiMiangra Great ideas. I found that one of the co-creators of the Maeson mod (Vice04) has their own TH-cam channel and they seem to still be working on the mod. A new video from them went up today and it looks like they have modded in Weregarurumon into the game :O Might be worth leaving your comments onto their channel :D
glad this popped up on my recommended feed, because it's that time again for the yearly replay of digimon world 😂

Skipping the dirt and training is more beneficial
Each time gives more stats, so you you still gain the SAME stats by the end, you just do it less times.
This game is still a pain in the ass to play
So it's a baby mode for people who suck at the game.
