In Mumbai it takes 3 hours just to travel 30 kms between Mumbai and virar. Too much traffic block because bad road. It is a hell. Gadkaeiji should visit here to see this hell.
महोदय जी यह रोड़ बनाने बहुत बड़ा भ्रष्टाचार हुआ है, सिर्फ़ और सिर्फ़ थुकपट्टी का काम किया है।
Last week only I travelled through this road from Baroda to Mumbai, it was a nightmare!! So much of long jam and diversion at so many places, it should have been planned after start of Mumbai Delhi Xpressway !!
Pichle saal acha road tha ,gadkari should have waited until Mumbai Delhi exp get completed then he should have started redevelopment of nh 48..very poor decision

Bharuch mumbai route of nh48 is most congested. But delhi mumbai expressway work on this part is very slow.

Hum palghar district walo ke liye ye highway zeher ban gaya hai…. Bc pata nai kab tak ye sab aisa rahega…. Kabhi road kharab toh kabhi godhbunder fountain hotel wala flyover, traffic jaam hamesha mila hai humko…
Even if the concrete road is ready there is major water logging issue in this patch from virar to godbhunder bridge. And the reason for that is illegal construction (in forest zone)of hotels and factories on both sides of the highway which blocks the rainwater to exit the road. The collectors and MlAs of that area give permission to such builders for money and are responsible for this disastrous highway which has now completely paralysed the connectivity to major cities like Mumbai and thane, and this is causing a negative impact on the businesses due to delay in the supply of goods. And also the local commuters who go through ‘hell’. just to cover this patch of 15 kms on the National highway it takes around 3 hours due to water logging and potholes

Can reach from Delhi to Virar, will take the same time to reach from Virar to Mumbai/Thane
very unplanned work causing lot of trouble for common people.
The highway once built might be good, but right now its causing hell .
The quality of the work is too bad the road is bumpy. The traffic was not properly diverted so there was a lot of chaos there was no presence of traffic police near the construction sites.
People were driving cars on freshly laid cement concrete due to traffic congestion. Causing tyre marks and bumps and potholes in newly constructed concrete road. After completion of this the traffic problem will increase till the Mumbai Delhi Highway is constructed. That still will not help till the Virar JNPT spur is developed.

Dahisar toll naka to talasri (Maha Guj border) distance of 130kms takes more than 5-6 hrs.. bad roads, huge potholes, worst diversions.
And still have to pay toll..
Worst section in entire country.
Cement concrete mein gadde bhi pad gaye hai. tar-coal road was better. i think this road project is a failure. why government is playing with people lives.

Log abhi Bane hue raste per hi gadi Chadha dete Hain. Isliye abhi nahin banae hue raste per hi Khade aur tyre ke Nishan a chuke hain. Aur rasta bad se behtar ho gaya hai
