Ottima l'impressione di levità fluente fatta tensione elanista e motile sorprendente nella ballerina ed ottimi quelli che con un mio neologismo mi piace chiamare convoli aerei ed elanisti della ballerina ottimamente indotti e tenuti dal partner. Ottimo il mantenimento anche in fase esecutiva delle pose figurali d'ensemble. Ottimo il senso del continuum dato alla pièce danzante. This is the most beautiful extract I have ever seen Alina Somova dance, regardless of any considerations of technique or choreography. It's my favourite part of the ballet - the *heart* of the ballet - and maybe I am a Romantic, but here we can see an infinitely precious, poignant moment - the beauty of first love. It is such a fleeting, ephemeral moment but it *does* exist and here Alina captures all the innocence and rapture of that moment for us to see for all time. Thank you, Nina!
yah she's amazing. my fave. no contest. She's so beautiful and graceful, I don't know how she has so many haters. (And I'm a ballet freak.) In my opinion, there is no better pas de deux around than one with Alina Somova. Osipova is my other fave... such such power, such height. I'll watch her solos in Quixote till I'm old and grey.
It's just a simple joyous moment where a pretty girl meets a pretty boy and they fall in love... But such a beauty of life only exists in the small girl's dream. Tchaikovsky knew it and this music has such shade of nostalgia and melancholy with abundant of happiness. So Alina's characterisation of innocence makes this piece infinitely precious... Alina Somova was featured in the movie Ballerina. Her talent was recognised, she improved a lot after joining Mariinsky Theatre. Love her performance.
