U are too damn right, I've been following them since 2013 maybe, and i could never get tired of their music, some of their songs had helped me go through some tough times. Stand out and fit in, wherever you are, clock strikes, I was king , deeper deeper are just some of my all time favorites among all of the good music you can hear from them
Not just that, but when I saw them in concert, all four of them stepped up to say how much that one song means to them. It's kind of a huge deal to them.
If you want to ugly cry on camera, then you need to watch/listen to Be The Light. It was written for the people of Japan after the 2011 earthquake. You need to watch the LIVE version. It’s simply beautiful and breathtaking. OOR definitely are something special.
Their genuine lyrics is the thing that made me fall for this band. It hits so hard when you listen and relate to it. These are one of my fav OOR songs that I'd like to recommend: wasted nights, stand out fit in, heartache, where ever you are, I was king, my broken heart of gold, gaints.
Cry Out, Stand Out Fit In, Mighty Long Fall, I Was King, The Beginning, Paper Planes, and Wasted Nights. You gotta react to all of these live performances because One OK Rock is literally one of a kind band, one of the best for me.
The lyrics of; Broken heart of gold, are also very touching! Everyone of us has bad days too and this song just fits so well ❤️ One ok rock takes you on a journey to find yourself
I personally really like the lyrics of “Be the light” and I feel like you’d enjoy it as well. I believe the song was made for an earthquake that happened in Japan so its quite sad. The performance at Mighty Long Fall Yokohama is one of my personal fave :) i
Oh, I thought it was written about the issues we've been dealing with for the past few years because there are several references to issues the world is facing. The one sign that said "I can't breathe" was a clear implication of everyone forced to wear a mask. And the lyrics talk about the broken system we are all living in. I thought the song was about being a renegade for change. I don't know much about the background of the song other than Ed Sheeran's contribution. But either way, it's a great song. Be the Light also one of my favorite songs too.
@@Codametal it could fit with the theme of current issues but because the song was released in 2013, which is way before the corona virus and the earthquake was in 2011, the song probably is referring to those situations. I agree with what you’ve said about renegades regarding change and broken systems, those one are more clearly referring to current events.
@@starfish6550 OH! I thought Renegades came out last year. Gosh, that's when the MV was released and I thought that's when the song was released. My bad. But yeah, how funny how even after 8 years, the issues are still the same! More hope, we need. Thanks for the clarification!
@@Codametal oh crap, i misunderstood you sorry, i thought you were referring to “be the light” for the first part. You hate absolutely correct on the renegades part and how it was released last year. Sorry!
@@starfish6550 No prob! My first exposure to Be the Light was in a Babymetal tribute video to 2 of the girls growing up together as best friends. And I thought it was BTS! Of course, it only took a moment of research last year to discover it was OOR. Then I heard Renegades, and I became a fan. And that song he wrote for one of the band member's wedding, Wherever You Are. Just awesome. Taka has an incredible voice. Lots of emotion and range. The whole band is really cool.
Just today I listened to this song and thought: "G.O.T Games need to react to this - I'm sure he'll love it." The lyrics of this song hit soo deep. And I love how you feel their messages. In their song "Nothing helps" they even say they're the voice to those who don't have one. And I really really feel that a lot. So thank you so much for this. I love your reaction. Not only that you talk about the song and the lyrics. But also your speech in the end is so motivational! You're amazing 🧡
yooo i bought tickets to see them live in october !!! im so freaking excited . they really saved me and got me through this horrible past month.. they mean everything to me and i still cant believe i will get to hear THE taka's live vocals
One Ok Rock made this song for the movie Ruroni Kenshin. The beautiful & touching song about the 311 earthquake/ tsunami tragedy was Be The Light. You should check that one out too..
I can't tell you how quickly I clicked to watch this. Lol. I know I was one of the many that suggested this. Haha! And definitely now that you've seen the MV, I suggest seeing his Piano version of it. This is beautiful, but my goodness... that version is so wonderfully done. I will also still stand by just about anything that they've done that you could react to. Heartache (studio jam session), Wherever You Are (Yokohama Stadium), Bedroom Warfare, C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h., or The Beginning. Your reaction to OOR is literally how I was and am with them. I so can't wait to see them in October! Lol. I also think since you love OOR, you may like his little brother's band My First Story. I finally listened to them at the beginnjng of the year, and fell in love with Hiro's voice, too. From them, I'd suggest listening to Alone, Let it Die, Kokuhaku (告白), Paradox, Missing You, or Underdog to start.
Oh yeah? Oh I would be happy to check out the little brothers band definitely! And all those songs! So new to them I love how much I still have to explore ❤️
Thanks again for this wonderful reaction to OOR! Once again, if you guys get the chance to see them live, go for it! Hearing Taka's voice with the band playing is so worth it!!!!
Ooh, forgot to suggest Wherever You Are. Taka wrote it for one of the band members who was getting married. It's a lovely song about the dedication and commitment to the one you love.
I want you to react to the song “Wasted Nights” The album "Eye of the Storm", which contains this song, was sold about three years before "Save Yourself" was released, and is the most pop on ONE OK ROCK albums. One Ok Rock - Broken Heart of Gold One Ok Rock - Be the light One Ok Rock - The Beginning One Ok Rock - Wherever You Are these songs are my favorite at the moment
One Ok Rock did all of the songs for all of the Live Action Rurouni Kenshin movies. The Kenshin movies are great and Renengades was used in the final movie. Beautiful! Just beautiful!
I was expecting to find out these guys were like gen z/early 20s, but turns out they're in their early 30s! That was pretty mind-blowing because they seem so young and fresh lyrically. I'm with you 💯 it brings hope that there are bands spreading this message and connecting to the youth. It gives hope.
I understand what you mean and how you feel about it. I met One Ok Rock in 2014, a very difficult time where I live. But I found his music and gained hope, excitement, and expectations for the future. And a couple of years after BTS. And I regretted not having found them sooner. But, there is a very popular saying among Army, and it is that "They came when we didn't need them the most"... Now, I'd like to recommend you that first song that gave me hope from One Ok Rock, it's called "Be the light" - Please react to the yokohama stadium live
Starting @7:30, you had me in tears because I feel the same way. And i am much, much older than you. I already loved ONE OK ROCK, but thank you so much for putting your feelings (and mine) into words. Thank you.
So many more songs for you to come and to enjoy! I'm happy to be here with your OOR journey! Because I know that my journey with this band felt like such an amazing time in my life!
You want to talk about their messages with their songs? Check out stand out fit in and be the light ;) Want to hear a different nice and rough dirty sound of them which will blow you away? Deep deeper ;)
I think you would love Be the Light especially since the lyrics get you on that song as well! The beginning and clock strikes are really good songs as well. Learned of your channel through your reactions to One ok Rock and have been watching all your videos! Glad to have another fan of One ok Rock!!
I really feel you because when i found them couple of years ago, I felt like I missed a lot. Please react to them "wasted nights" live version if you haven't done yet.
I agree with everything you said about them and I always enjoy seeing your genuine love and appreciation for them. Renegades is one of my favourite songs, certainly my favourite OOR song. If this song does not affect you deeply, then you are dead inside. Next: Wasted Nights. Stand Out, Fit In.
I love these guys they got me through lockdown putting all their live concerts on TH-cam! Please react to stand out fit in next, the orchestra version that one gives me all the feels or you could do the music video first then that one just a suggestion 😁😁
God, this song made me SOB when I first saw the video, so frankly, you're doing better than I did! But MAN! If you want a One OK Rock song that has a MESSAGE? You gotta check out Stand Out Fit In from their Eye of the Storm album. Wasted Nights is another from that album that I just adore, but here's the thing. When I got to see them in concert when they toured for Eye of the Storm, Stand Out Fit In is the song where all four band members stepped up and spoke about how much it meant to them. How important the message in that song is. It's beautiful, you'll love it, it'll probably make you cry again, but that's no shame. Also, because I CANNOT pick just one, I'm going to throw a few older ones at you, because they are still amazing. Mighty Long Fall is freakin' BOSS. The Way Back is so punk, I love it.
This song was co-written by Coldrain's vocalist Masato as well, I feel like Ed Sheeran's getting more credit than it's due, the lyrics are very Coldrain-ish.
I definitely agree with the feeling about hopelessness and newfound hope. I remember the first song that did that for me, in general, was Black Eyed Peas' "One Tribe". It had come out shortly before Occupy happened, and I was only 19-20 at the time, so it gave me a lot of what I needed then, including so many other songs. I knew One OK Rock in high school, as they came out during my senior year, but why I hadn't heard any of their other songs aside from Re:make is beyond me. I heard Renegades for the first time yesterday, and finally, after almost a decade of feeling downtrodden, after having basically given up, those lyrics made me think back to the days when I was in the streets. Obviously, there were older people out with us kids as well, but you're not wrong when you say it's statistically the young people that are the majority of the ones wanting change and trying to actively do something. This isn't to say that I've felt completely hopeless with BTS around though. They have so many amazing youth anthems that I wished I'd had back then, but I think I did pretty okay with people like Linkin Park and Otep lol I guess it's more of the fact that I'm seeing more artists coming out with this kind of music again, with BTS being one of the major ones. Because for a while, it seemed like everything was superficial with lyrics, but I'm seeing it more and more now, where the youth, including Millennials, are just...we're more visible, is what I think I'm trying to get at. It was harder after the crash of '08 and in 2010 because most of us were still teens or in our twenties while those working the system were and are still far older. But now that we've grown up, and the eldest of the Millennials are in their 40s, and the younger generations aren't taking any crap, it feels like there's hope for once. When I was 18, from my perspective, the 40-somethings from then have continued to be the asshats they always were, trying to prevent change and holding the youth down. So it feels different now.
Fyi, Renegades are an original soundtrack for a japanese live action movie (its anime, but real people) called "Ruroinin Kenshin" Or most of the peoples known as "Samurai X"
@@GOTGames yes yes yes, indeed, and speaking of the ost of that movie, oor (one ok rock for short) has another song called mighty long fall that has been released as ost of the previous part of that movie
Great reaction. This one always hits me hard in the emotions but I love it so much. The next song I'd suggest reacting to by ONE OK ROCK is Broken Heart of Gold. Then Deeper Deeper, Stand Out Fit In, I Was King, The Beginning, Re:Make, Wherever You Are, Bombs Away, Hard to Love, Dreamer, The Way Back, Clock Strikes, Be the Light (a song they released for the two year anniversary of the Tohoku earthquake), Memories, Liar, Fight the Night, and C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h. Also cannot recommend enough Taka's younger brother's band MY FIRST STORY (the Moriuchi family are just too frigging talented!). Hiro, Taka's brother, is the vocalist. I especially love Fukagyaku Replace, Alone, Missing You, Shissō Flame [失踪FLAME], Paradox (song for the Japanese version of The Matrix Resurrections), Hana-0714- [花-0714-], Shūen Requiem [終焉レクイエム], Hiro's First Take of Hyena, and Hiro's cover of See You Again by Wiz Khalifa ft. Charlie Puth. (Put the kanji for some to make it easier to find some of them)
Hey, I really liked your reaction to the beatbox loop station battle and I would really like to see more of them. All of the recent loop station battles are amazing and some of the solo eliminations. Some of the old loop station battles are really good too. I feel like you would like a lot of the beatboxing videos. Also, I am a new subscriber and I really like your energy so keep up the good reactions.
G.O.T Games … ONE OK ROCK IS GOING ON TOUR!!!! (Hopefully by you too!) I love these reactions. Been a huge jrock fan for ages. You may like Miyavi Tears on Fire!
If you love the deeper lyrics, like everyone else has said, you need to check out Stand Out Fit In, Be the Light, Broken Heart of Gold, or my personal favorite, C.H.A.O.S.M.Y.T.H. But literally all of their songs have such powerful lyrics. I cannot wait to see them in October! I know the 6 hour drive will be so worth it just to hear them live
I cried the whole song watching you tear up!!! This band has always been at the top of my list besides BTS! You’re my absolutely favorite channel. I love your reactions and your insight to all these amazing musicians! Thank you and love you too!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
If you ever have the chance to go and see them live in a concert, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND doing it. Their songs hit deeper live and even more if you know the lyrics and sing along with the band. I got the chance and pleasure to go to one of their concerts during their NA tour this year (its been three weeks since the concert and it still feels like it was yesterday). I usually don't get easily emotional in life but damn they made me shed tears from the first song they played that night. I am not missing any of their concerts from now on when they come back to my city. I hope you experience it as well bro! 😁
I'm waiting for your reaction!!! This song is super cool🔥🔥 They actually decided to support with LINKIN PARK Tour in 2017, but Chester passed away, so they couldn't do it. After that, he covered "One More Light". It's so sad but so beautiful🥲 ・Taka OOR - One More Light Cover 【Tribute to Chester Bennington】 Btw he have talked with LINKIN PARK(Chester and Mike Shinoda) on a Japanese program!! If you're interested why don't you go check it out! ・ONE OK ROCK - TAKA WITH LINKIN PARK ONE MORE LIGHT SPECIAL Taka talk in Japanese in the begining: I was shocked by the LINKIN PARK commercial that I saw at the movie theater when I was elementary school student. It's not like "Nice to meet you." because before meeting in Japan, I met Mike at the studio in LA, where we listened to each other's new songs and talked about many things. When I was touring the US, I always said "I wanna perform with LINKIN PARK" in interviews, so being able to tour with you in the US has great meaning for my life.
Please, please let´s watch their documentary "Flip a Coin" together! They work so hard. They are amazing. I ´d love to watch it with all of you on twich. And don´t forget to check out the Rurouni Kenshin movies. They are amazing. This is the OST for the last movie.
This song is such an anthem..I'm going through some stuff personally so I listen to this song 3 to 4 times a day..I even listen to the Japanese version 3 to 4 times a day..
More Japanese artists to check out: -Miyavi (What's My Name for a good intro, Fire Bird (live version!), The Others (his song for UNHCR where he's an ambassador for refugees, especially children)) -Survive Said the Prophet (Found & Lost, Mukanjyo, or Follow) -Monkey Majik (Change with the Yoshida Brothers or Around the World) -Hyde (the BIGGEST rock star in Japan) (Mad Qualia, Fake Devine, or The Cape of Storms for his current songs) -Man With A Mission (Raise Your Flag, Change the World, their duo with Zebrahead 'Out of Control' is a fun one) Indian folk metal band: Bloodywood (Aaj or Danna-dan (turn on captions for the English translation!))
Easily one of the best rock bands of this generation!!

Thank You for loving ONE OK ROCK♥️
❤️
I agree with everything you said about them and I always enjoy seeing your genuine love and appreciation for them. Renegades is one of my favourite songs, certainly my favourite OOR song. If this song does not affect you deeply, then you are dead inside.
Next: Wasted Nights. Stand Out, Fit In.
I love your reaction and hope you like "Be the light", "Clock Strikes", "Taking off","The Beginning" and "Heartache" .
please react to mighty long fall and clock strikes by One OK Rock, Love your reactions
Happy to ❤️
be the light would definitely be the next one you hqve to check out. I also really recommend you take what you want featuring 5 seconds of summer
Please react to 'I was King' by ONEOKROCK (orchestra version). Thanks 👍🏼
音楽は世界共通ですね😌
I love these guys they got me through lockdown putting all their live concerts on TH-cam! Please react to stand out fit in next, the orchestra version that one gives me all the feels or you could do the music video first then that one just a suggestion 😁😁
This journey is gonna be long , so long.Must be great fun.
I've learned throughout the years of being a One OK Rock fan to realize that OK stands for Overkill
OOR is such a special band.
💯💯
Listen to the band My First Story
The lead singer is Taka-sans little brother
You would enjoy the cover of Open Arms by Taka and Arnel Pineda
Fyi, Renegades are an original soundtrack for a japanese live action movie (its anime, but real people) called "Ruroinin Kenshin" Or most of the peoples known as "Samurai X"
Oh yeah? 😮❤️
@@GOTGames yes yes yes, indeed, and speaking of the ost of that movie, oor (one ok rock for short) has another song called mighty long fall that has been released as ost of the previous part of that movie
YES×YES❣GREAT ONE OK ROCK❣
(Put the kanji for some to make it easier to find some of them)
❤️
Im big fans OOR.. and i glad that u also liku Them…i like yr reaction
Oh more to come my friend!
G.O.T Games … ONE OK ROCK IS GOING ON TOUR!!!!

This is Japanese rock. Thank you for being impressed. We love you
I would love you to watch “Be the light” by one ok rock
「Be the Light」と「Stand Out Fit In」についてはMVとLIVEの両方のリアクションが必要です。
If you love the deeper lyrics, like everyone else has said, you need to check out Stand Out Fit In, Be the Light, Broken Heart of Gold, or my personal favorite, C.H.A.O.S.M.Y.T.H. But literally all of their songs have such powerful lyrics.
I cannot wait to see them in October! I know the 6 hour drive will be so worth it just to hear them live
Love them 💕
❤️
I like "we are"
I cried the whole song watching you tear up!!!
This song is super cool🔥🔥
They actually decided to support with LINKIN PARK Tour in 2017, but Chester passed away, so they couldn't do it. After that, he covered "One More Light". It's so sad but so beautiful🥲
・Taka OOR - One More Light Cover 【Tribute to Chester Bennington】
Btw he have talked with LINKIN PARK(Chester and Mike Shinoda) on a Japanese program!! If you're interested why don't you go check it out!
・ONE OK ROCK - TAKA WITH LINKIN PARK ONE MORE LIGHT SPECIAL
Taka talk in Japanese in the begining:
I was shocked by the LINKIN PARK commercial that I saw at the movie theater when I was elementary school student.
❤️
Please, please let´s watch their documentary "Flip a Coin" together! They work so hard. They are amazing. I ´d love to watch it with all of you on twich. And don´t forget to check out the Rurouni Kenshin movies. They are amazing. This is the OST for the last movie.
I was so excited to see this video because I waited for this reaction since finding your channel a few weeks ago
You definitely need to check out nothing helps by One Okay Rock they basically say the reason they make me in that song it is awesome
This song is such an anthem..I'm going through some stuff personally so I listen to this song 3 to 4 times a day..I even listen to the Japanese version 3 to 4 times a day..
Please listen to Be the light and Pierce ( Live Yokohama Arena ).
this was the theme song for movie "Rurouni Kenshi - The Beginning" & "The Final". And the movie which has another song by them "The Beginning".
I'd like to recommend "I was king orchestral version", "heartache studio jam" among many of the other recommendations
We have a long list and will get to them all
@@GOTGames OOKR reactions are always worth the wait xD
