I love all your videos! Can you possibly do a gold refining 101 series where you teach us how to do it step by step and break it all down for us and teach us what equipment is necessary that would be awesome
I pretty much go over every step I take within my vids. However of you really want to take a deep dive into refining, I'd suggest joining the goldrefiningforum.com My biggest tips would be to buy or build a good fume booth. And, learn how to safely dispose of your waste materials before you start any experiment.
@@LithicMetals Still good to see you back. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to get inexpensive gold and other materials for refining. That, and getting the setup and other refining equipment.
Jeff I miss your videos. Im fascinated with your industry. You’re incredibly talented. Do you have a website where we can purchase your products. Love supporting small businesses.
Holy cow, you are back! Not going to tell you how to live your life, but you should really consider uploading regularly! Even if you just record a bunch of footage and hire a high-school or college student to edit. I really think you could blow up to be one of the biggest in your industry on TH-cam! Either way, I enjoy every upload you’ve done!
@@LithicMetals it was really fun watching him trouble shoot it all out to get close enough to “benchmark” result. I couldn’t help but think of how / if you could pour and ripple it the same way. When he poured it, it almost immediately “hardened”. He had pre-heated the mold, but didn’t have the torch going on top like you. I was also wondering if could be “extruded” (don’t know the name but it’s the multi-channeled device that elongates the ingot) the same way or get stamped how regular Au is? at what temp does gold melt ? it always amazes me how quickly it cools down in water. good conductor indeed !
Gold melts at just under 2,000° f. 😁
Love your bars buddy
One day I’ll have one 👍🏻
Thank you! I'll be happy to pour one for you! 💛
Excellent work. Could you please provide the oxygen-to-acetylene ratio you're using, and the PSI levels for both gases?

Lovely pour. Always a big fan of you.
PS. I so wished you punched those logos and numbers in a nice, little fly-press.
Awesome
🤔🤔🤔 The tone of voice, makes me want to eat a MRE pack.
😁
😂😂😂 he does kindof sound like steve
@@silverking8742😂😂 I know Right? 😁
Lol I'm going to have to watch one of his vids, because I hear that quite often
Do u use Borax prior to the melt?
He has other videos showing his preparation and processesing to get very pure gold grain. When it's ready to melt into bars, it's ready.
I use borax to coat the melt dish so the gold doesn't stick to it, but that's about it.
Awesome 👍👍... great to see you back! Keep up the process.
Thanks, Bobby! Will do!!
you've been gone for a hot minute welcome back
Glad you're here to join me, Jason! Thanks for watching!!

I highly appreciate that you didn't add stupid music.
Thanks for the feedback. I tried that a few times, and it was just corny
Warning them up in the dish looks like egg yokes and it cracks me up every time.

Have you seen @nilered video on making purple gold?
I haven't made the time to watch the whole thing. However, I'm familiar with the experiment
