Been a long time since I've visited Miss Robyn's channel. She is so awesome. I'll be back more often. Still, sigh, I do miss her with Scott Bradley and PMJ. I know she and Scott broke up, but I looked forward to her singing with PMJ.
Эти пронзительные глаза не дают целиком и полностью оценить вокальное исполнение данного произведения. А что еще нужно от миллионов поклонников Робин? Конечно же 👍👍👍👍 и море 💐💐💐💐💐...
I guess I'm not so positive as others. Both the Delta Rhythm Boys version and the Duke Ellington Orchestra version feature strong rhythm in the vocals. The song itself is an allegory for the regular mechanical workings of a train, and the singer(s) are just as much part of that as the instruments are. When the lyrics are sung off-beat then the metric accent reminicent of the train is itself lost. Ms. Anderson is a fine singer but this particular arrangement doesn't feel to me like it works.
Thanks for making note of that. I kept feeling like something wasn't sitting right beyond the fact she can't pronounce Harlem correctly (that E is a schwa, Robyn, you dear nightingale). It also explains why she was constantly rushing to finish each line. Move her start back the right direction and it'd be so much better.
Also, she keeps singing a wrong note in that phrase!! The pitch before "Harlem" is a flattened second, in this case, a Gb. She keeps singing a bloody G! She really misses the point of such a well-crafted melody🤦♂️ Nice voice though.
I got distracted by the visuals of the split-screen. Robyn is fine, but seeing the full range of hand motion might make it better. Can see all of the piano player's moves on the keyboard. But the trumpet's bell winds up blocking the player and the fingering; the bass allows us to see the left and his fingering, but not the right hand plucking. Drummer's moves can be seen, but not the full trap set. If you are going to be trapped into playing separately, some attention to the visuals would be welcome. Of course, the most welcome change would be to have all of you in the same room playing together.
UGH. This is soooo disappointing. Up your game, Robyn!!!! Also, you really should find a new stylist. Your look is frightfully rough. The harsh visual detracts mightily from the music.
I've heard so many versions of this song but never realized it actually had lyrics.
Didn’t realize Siri could sing like this.
Duke Ellington and the masters would all be proud of all of you.
You're very talented. And I like that you cover a wide range of genres. Thank you.
Thanks! Glad you enjoy!

Шедеврально!
😘👍
Сильно не стандартный стандарт
I think the reason nobody ever does a vocal version of this is pretty much what we just saw: That was a damn difficult vocal.
Красотка Робин безупречна. Как всегда! :)
Train to Adele
А как же подмигнуть в конце?..
WOW A RAMA totally RULES...it's ELECTRIC a total GAS....Monica...dj:spy-girl :)

No wink at the end? I feel betrayed :(
Smoldering eyes, tempting lips, heavenly voice...I'm all aboard!
No wink... Was it something I said?
