As an experienced programmer and ethical hacker I can tell you if somebody is watching through your phone it won't have a shitty matrix effect put over videos and pictures, the phone will act normal. And it's also easy to prevent your phone from spying on you, by updating it frequently, not downloading shady things, running on a secure network, etc.
All he did was put a "matrix" effect over his camera or over his photos/videos he's opening.
I don't know who he thinks he is fooling lol, your phone can't just magically get hacked.
