I was just on Fremont St this week and the cello guy is still there lol. I found something to buy in the shack, the girl working was friendly and easy to negotiate with. Cool store, it looks different then 2 years ago.
I remember if you sent so many proofs of purchase from Star War figures you could get special rewards like a back pack to carry Yoda on your back with the Luke Skywalker Jedi figure or you could get the Bosk bounty hunter or extra guns, every body was losing those unless you put them in the special locker of the Earth Vader carrying case. Boy I was a nerd then again my figures were the original series.
Before the Star War figures and before the 1/18 GI Joe's I remember 1/18 high Army action figures from the early 1970's fully articulated dressed in Vietnam style uniforms and made out of plastic and rubber can't remember if they had weapons or accessories but they were soldiers so they must have had some gear. This was around the time of Lincoln logs and the lone ranger figures. I don't remember the name of these figures but they were about 3 inch tall. I hope I didn't imagine it.
Very great place. Loved my visit there, I bought a couple super treasure hunts. Definitely overpriced for a lot of things imo, but there were a few gems that would definitely be worth picking up just because of rarity!!

What you have to remember dude, is that the “Shack” owner, has to pay rent, utilities, staff wages and health insurance, public liability insurance, inventories, so although his prices are high on some items compared to Ebay, it ain’t cheap or easy to run a successful retail business. But I enjoyed ya vlog. Very interesting.👍🇦🇺🤪😁
Yeah, I own several businesses.. I'm aware of overhead. I don't expect ebay prices, I mentioned this in the card shop video from Vegas as well... it's a tough sell when you have to charge so much to make ends meet. Rent alone must be in the 10's of thousands of dollars.

I remember that 1990 score set going for over $100. In 1990. Idk why the collecting community at that time had those cards valued so high. I remember it staying that way for a year, then it started plummeting to the price it is today.
They may have a new toy guy. So much of diecast is the wrong scale for O gauge trains. How many red 1950's convertibles does one need? I may need to do a vid on my Star Wars collection.
If you go on you tube and type in my wwf hasbro collection ive put some wwf hasbro figures on and some hand held games ive got loads more games carnt seem to get to them buried away somewhere ive got a few vids on you tube again ive got more hasbro figures but put away somewhere ok
I still got my flip cars from the 80s . The ones that hit walls and dents flip over . I love these cars
Oh yeah, I still have those. I also have the ones I would put under my dad's truck tires. That was a little more permanent tho.
