I have matched this MB2 SE with Dan M400 400W, Electrocompaniet AW250R 250W, Jeffrowland 725 330W and Jeffrowland 925 430W. The more power you have, the better sound you get especially the deep and attacking bass.
Great system, great sound, congrats and thanks for sharing. Do you happen to know if there's too much difference in sound PMC MB2 vs the IB2 SE (same but with the 10" instead of 12")? Also, have you had the chance to hear ATC SCM100 or 150, and if so, what is your take vs your PMC? Thanks.
I've never listened to IB2 SE so so I can't compare both two. If I got lucky, I'd get Atc scm100 to compare to Scm50 and Pmc mb2 se next couple months. I can tell you the diffrences then.
@@dtorsuephakd3772 Thanks. I have the IB2 SE and the SCM150. In my room, both are very similar, but ATC is more detailed on top, PMC is softer on those high freqs. Both passive, powered with Pass XA60.8's.
@@carlosmier4380If compared MB2 SE to SCM50, I feel the opposite. MB2 SE has more high frequency resolution than SCM50 and gets deeper but softer bass than SCM50. SCM50 is more outstanding on midrange. These two speakers are totally different from one another.
Dan+Wison is the best popular matching I've heard. JR925+PMC is better matching than Dan+PMC. There are some more deep bass details that I've never felt when listening to Dan+PMC. It depends on what's matching with what.
@@dtorsuephakd3772 - system matching is critical, especially at the highest level of hi-end stereo. You have one stunning sound room. It just sounds like pure music!
Best sound I hear pmc MB2se set up .. jeff really bring out The potential Of thouse speaker Sound
No one sang this song better than Elvis
Beautiful room and it is nice to see you went the extra step of room treatments.
Thank you. They have been done both on the ceiling and at the back of listening chair.
I use Audio Research D240 MKII to power my MB2SE and they provide a great experience in my rather small room 4.5/5/2.7m room.

How do you wire them ? These PMCs are triwire
With jumpers.
Stand brand under the Rowlands?
Extrema's the one under Jeff but the back ones are from Life Audio.
Are those mono-blocks Jeff Rowland?
Yep, JR 925
@@dtorsuephakd3772 - you like them better than the D'Agostino's you had before?
